They probably haven’t created a rule for VAR and GDS as they would have assumed it wasn’t needed. But this is where common sense comes in and the VAR has to just say “I’ve watched the replay and it’s 6 inches over”.

It's unbelievable really that they haven't given that goal somehow. They've got hawkeye, VAR and the naked eye of the linesman and they still haven't got the right decision. Now it suits us but for me it just sums up that this season has been littered with errors from refs and the supposed technology that is there to help them.
