The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

I can’t believe we’re going to finally rid of me my Hwang affliction only to have it be immediately replaced with a Marshall affliction.

Damn my contrarianism to Hell!

I've been impressed with the quality, profile and price of the 2 players we have signed and the one we missed out on. If we get to the end of the window and every position is filled with players of a similar quality I'll be very happy. I've resigned myself to a couple of deals dragging right on to the last few days of the window, it's what I feared would happen when we changed our recruitment structure when we did, but it's getting to the stage where it's going to seriously affect our preparations for the season if we don't get another 1 or 2 in before City.

We've still got a few more to shift on as well and the homegrown question. Lots of work to do.

Agreed.

Not even a mention of Josh Brownhill yet, either.

Glad we didn't get him tbh, I don't think I could've taken having to listen to people pronounce his name Line-O

was looking forward to line-o taking it down the line-o past the line-o (who keeps his flag down) and crossing it for JSL to score
