Welcome to Wolves Jorgen Strand Larsen

....like when you spent years thinking every player automatically trousered 10% of every transfer fee every time they moved.
Loyalty Bonus as part of contract transfer request
When a player submits a transfer request, they risk losing their loyalty bonus, which is typically a one-time payment. This bonus is part of the contract and is not paid out if the player leaves the club without requesting a transfer. Clubs may withhold loyalty bonuses when a transfer request is made, as this is seen as a breach of the player's commitment to the club. However, if a player is offered a new contract, the loyalty bonus is not paid out, and the new contract takes over the remaining loyalty bonus. This means that clubs can negotiate new contracts without the obligation to pay out the loyalty bonus, as long as the player does not request a transfer.

That's not 'getting 10% of every transfer fee'

No it doesn't.
Seeing as there's fuck all else going on tonight, it's a reasonable read watching a few guys with an opinion banging it back and forth.

You said it, repeatedly, for years
I definitely recall talking about the loyalty bonus clause that's written into contracts which is the reason that players extremely rarely hand in transfer requests.

I don't remember there being a particular figure though.

It's in that article and its something that is probably still in Football Manager, but I haven't played that for years.

What are you saying then Dan? Just picking a fight for giggles?

Personally Ive just been scrolling through without reading after the first 20 posts as it seemed to me to be people arguing about summat that they actually agreed about and it going .

Not really, just you're wrong.

Do you really think we sat round the table with Jørgen and his agent in June and said 'let's talk numbers'?

Of course we didn't, it was sorted out a year earlier.

EP is never wrong on anything, he was arguing with me the other week that he knew better than Sasa did about injury recovery in the premier league when Sasa said it was difficult because of the pace and intensity
I told him I’d take Sasas opinion over a random bloke on the internet.
Put him on ignore, your life will be better.

No, I said the S and C would be better at Wolves than some piss poor club in Austria.

Of course the pace of the game is faster and more intense in England, you just chose to argue the point i wasn't making.

He doesn't have a clue, he's just arguing the toss as per usual. He's literally argued both sides of this nonsense already. He said 'I don't believe that for a moment' in response to jlo saying 'his current wages were probably agreed a year ago'

Argued himself round in circles and then said

'His contract upon signing permanently. (which of course will have been outlined upon the drafting of his loan contract)'

He doesn't know or care what he's arguing about.

No, as i've said several times today I think we'd have agreed a provisional contract with him when we signed him on loan, and then due to his good form when we came to sign him permanently, he and his agent will have pushed for a better offer.

It must be fun repeatedly misrepresenting me and then calling that view ridiculous or stupid though, so carry on if you wish I'm very much used to it.

This is all because you spelled pajamas with a 'Y'.

I don't believe he was on the same wages last week as what he signed the day from Celta, that's the whole premise of my point, not the opposite :ROFLMAO:

You really aren't as smart as you think you are are you if you can't understand the really simple and obvious point I'm making.

Based on what? Absolutely nothing but your own fantasy as per. And as always the 'point you're making' changes as all the evidence stacks up against it.

Literally one bald man fighting over a comb.

We didn't 'come to sign him', we'd already bloody signed him.

This is tiring.
