Wolves 2-3 Leeds: Verdict Thread

And that’s the long and short of it. Didn’t happen to a top 4 team, didn’t happen.

Officiating in England is just dreadful.
Even worse. He will watch it back and think he still made the correct call

What chance did Raul have to make it three? Genuine question as I feel like I’ve forgotten everything that happened since the red 😂
The volley he put out for a throw in maybe? Tho that was in the first half.

I think it was a Podence header (or loose ball deflection that looped over to him on the edge of the box one on one and he fucked up a side foot volley lob thing, it was terrible and he had so much time, and Jonny was racing on to be a square ball and almost open goal

Right. I am off for some Friday night alcohol and plenty of it. I suggest many of you join me as this thread is likely to only end one way 🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃

Oh right that was at one nil though wasn’t it?

Friend was garbage in the first half as well as the second.
Raul should never have been booked for the first challenge never mind the second one.
Having said that 2-0 flattered Leeds at half time it should have been 3 or 4 nil by then.
Pathetic from Saiss.
Plus points, Donk and Trincao did ok. Johnny got through another full game.

We’ve got players capable of taking the sting out of the game.

Leeds are shit. Couple of passes, even a man down, and you can work space. We failed to control the game.

Over the course of a season, you’re going to get a contentions red card. If given the option, it doesn’t get better than getting it in the second half of a game against relegation strugglers at home, while 2-0 up.

The league table over 38 games is a fair reflection of the shit you have to deal with, bad decisions and all.

We completely fucked it tonight.

If winning the ball is irrelevant I don't see how that isn't a 50/50.
If an outfield player goes in like that he gets done for being reckless. Yet somehow the foul goes against Raul?

Also i'm sure that commentary said the linesman gave Wolves the free kick at the time?

Can anyone who was there confirm that either way?

Of course Marsch says it was a clear yellow card, oh do fuck off.

Lost all interest. When absolutely diabolical refereeing decisions influence a game so much with absolutely zero reprisal again and again and again I lose all interest in paying for the privilege to see it first hand and get wound up to fuck. The game's dead.
I agree -what is the point. This would never happen to the Manchester clubs, Liverpool or Chelsea.

Spot on that is.

There is never a better moment to get a really bad decision go against you.

The first challenge is a booking every day of the week. To be honest it’s on the orange side of yellow.

Let’s not kid ourselves. When a player like Raul is second to absolutely everything as he has been all season, it’s not a surprise he’s picking up bookings.

Commentators said he'd given a sign for a free kick for Wolves, but the replay showed him flagging the other way.

Lino flagged for Leeds.

I do agree, and said in the match thread, if a defender went through an attacker like that he'd get penalised for using excessive force
