womens world cup?

Good goal if I’m allowed to say that.

The game is enjoyable, not technically comparable to higher level mens game but it is good to watch.

And people really actually do care. Genuinely. My kids asked to stay up and watch it, they don't always do that for men's internationals.

I judge it on its merits, if it's good (as in that goal) I will compliment it, if it's awful (constantly giving the ball away) I will criticise it, seems fair to me.

Kids know nothing. I used to think Dogtanian and the Muskehounds was good. Having rewatched it, no it is not.

Now who’s diving

This.

Dan's namesake is absolutely sublime at times.

People doing the absurd thing of comparing the men’s game to the women’s. If it offends your eyes so much there’s a great thing called the remote control turn it over and leave this thread for us who want to discuss it properly. We were told not to discuss it on the match day thread now we’ve got people wumming on this thread.

It's Pearce who is doing that. Everyone knows they are different. This is entertaining enough though.

It's on, but only vaguely watching.

Probably a bit lucky to be level (didn't actually see to England goal)

But why is the England keeper just parrying everything away - the last save was as easy to catch as do that & it could well of gone back to the opposition.

I'm not comparing it and I'm not "wumming".

I'm judging it as a game of football. I've watched an enormous amount of shite, Oberliga Hamburg, West Midlands League, it's not like I'm slagging them off for not being Ruben Neves.

It's actually been ok so far apart from the trademark pointless losses of possession out of nowhere.

Did you purposely post that to coincide with the Stephen Hunt style corner :)

Dans right in the standard is really low - the passing is awful, the control isn’t great, and I reckon Ryan Bennett would be the fastest player on the pitch by a mile, but as Jonny says, it’s a different game to the men’s.

I hope England win, but If there’s a men’s game on at the same time as the final, I’d watch the men’s game. My daughters 7 and doing crafts, so she’s not that fussed.

Game a lot better after the equalizer

That's a hell of a ball in.
