Tim II says wholesale changes so I'm guessing that means Ruddy, Kilman, Vinagre, Bennett, Cutrone, Vallejo and Neto all start.

Just depends on how weak he wants to make the other 4 positions. Sanderson, Campbell, Perry and Jordao if the latter is still alive could come in if he wanted to make 11 changes and the Villa team but I think we may see Saiss in the middle of the park

I reckon we'll see a complete 11 changes, similar to the line up v Villa in the league cup, which was -

Ruddy

Sanderson
Vallejo
Bennett
Kilman
Vinagre

Jordao
Perry
Campbell

Cutrone
Neto

Substitutes:

Rui Patrício
Taylor
Ashley-Seal
Samuels
Buur
Cristóvão
Richards

Ruddy

Vallejo
Bennett
Kilman

Sanderson
Saiss
Jordao
Vinagre

Neto
Cutrone
Campbell

A shame Gibbs-White isn’t fit yet. Cuddle and Otasowie have travelled lately so maybe those two will be in the squad too. Wouldn’t be surprised if Cundle played in Campbell’s place.

I’d be surprised if Besiktas put out a full strength side considering they are already out, it’s a long away game and have a home game that they need to win to keep up with Sivasspor on Sunday.

I'd like to see Otasowie get some minutes on the pitch - think he's a real prospect

We’ve got plenty of defenders and the two forwards. Just depends who’s going In midfield. I don’t want to see a team as weak as Villa. That was 2 players away from winning. Jordao and Saiss/Donk in midfield for me or Donk and Saiss if Jordao can’t be found

Donk needs a rest I think, I would also have a strong bench in case we need one goal to go top of the group towards the end. My team would be:

Ruddy
Sanderson - Bennett - Kilman
Jonny - Jordao - Perry - Vinagre
Neto - Cutrone - Campbell

A number of U23s have joined the first team in Marbella - Sondergaard, Rasmussen, Otasowie, Richards, Cundle, Perry and Campbell.

Most could play a part against Besiktas. I gather Nuno is looking to make wholesale changes and give his first XI a much-needed rest ahead of Spurs.

That was Tim’s tweet on it as TT alluded too in OP

----------------------Patricio------------------

---------Otasowie----Bennett----Kilman-----

Sanderson------Saiss-------Perry------Vinagre

-----------Campbell----Cutrone----Neto-------------

I've had enough of Ruddy now, thanks for everything big man but I only want him playing now if Rui is unavailable. No longer viable.

I like the look of DW's team but wouldn't mind if Ruddy played.
Looking forward to the game even though it will be a second string side, I've greatly enjoyed our EL games so far which is a good job as I've not managed to get to a league game yet

I think Sondergaard has earned a position at least on the bench.

He's been one of the standout performers for the u23s

Suspect that we will play a few of the first team squad - Bennett as he's just coming back in, Coady to lead them & Cutrone/Neto (whatever anyone thinks of them they are part of the normal 1st 18).

Actually looking forward to seeing a few of the younger fringe players to see what they have to bring to the team.

My team: -

A goalkeeper (really don't care who)

Bennett - Coady - Kilman

The rest as Deutsch posted - not sure if I would have too many of the other usual league players on the bench either, give them a few days grace to recover their energy as many looked very tired yesterday.

I would not expect anyone not at Marbella to play.

My guess based on what we saw.
Ruddy
Kilman
Bennett
Coady
Saiss
Dendonker
Vinagre
Doc
Neto
Cutrone
Jota

Think the bench will be made up of the u23's not sure Rui will even be on the bench
Neves may be on the bench Moutinho will not.

Tho based on training Ruddy or Bennett could play up front with their finishing

As long as we rest mou, raul, jota, johnny and traore im ok with the lineup

Patrick 9/2 first goalscorer on Thursday with Bet365. Given that he's certain to start and quite possibly - in the absence of Raul and Neves - a possible penalty taker that looks like a decent price to me

I think there is going to be a lot of pissed of people in here
