Beautifully summed up. Sportswashing is a foul practice. Shame City owners got through but at least this truly reprehensible lot have been stopped at the gates.

No Kylian Mbappe on the way then?

Snigger.

With Bruce staying its more likely to be Elmohamady

Stuck with him FOREVER

On this one, I don't think the PL wanted to make the decision and deny the takeover so they just ignored all calls/emails/bribes/texts until they gave up and walked away themselves
Definitely looks like they were just kicking the ball into the long sand, until it went away

I thought they were good in the 2-2. Of course we should have put them away but once we didn't, they were good value for a point. Played well in some other games I watched too.

He needs to weed out the players who have been there too long and start on his own path.

Palace are a mystery as no-one knows what is going on with their finances. Sold AWB last summer and spent nothing. Who's to say the same won't happen with Zaha this year (although I don't know who'll buy him, he's been shit all season). Seem determined to exist without actually owning a proper striker.

I think Newcastle will go as it stands, Ashley won't spend owt and Bruce is still fucking garbage.
Zaha's only options to staying were Everton and Newcastle. The latter will be off the table now and I'm not sure he's an Ancelotti player either tbh

A front three of Richarlison, Zaha and Calvert-Lewin would be pretty good. Everton have other areas they need to address first though.

I really rate Zaha, think he's more than earned a move for his efforts in keeping Palace in the league year in year out. Just not sure who spends all that money on him!

Think he will go overseas, PSG were interested last season I think?

I'd be surprised if Leicester weren't interested - they need a wideman.

I could also see Arsenal offering up a few players in exchange.

Parish is likely to price him out of a move yet again.

Not this time. Probably going to pick up half of what they could have got for him last year. Zaha wants out now, so it is a pointless exercise putting a daft price on his head.

I suppose so. I cant see him moving elsewhere in this country easily. It is a very Everton signing though I guess.

Zaha could probably do with a move. Might breath a bit of form into him especially under a more progressive manager than Woy.

It would be peak Everton to ignore their glaring deficiencies to sign him.

West Ham might be daft enough to sign him on stupid money

Why would anyone go from Palace to West Ham?

They like to throw money around. They would probably double/triple his wage but he would have to accept lowering his expectations on his furture career in exchange for that

He’s on loads at palace though - easily 100k a week plus. Even West Ham aren’t going to pay him 200k a week... actually, yeah just ignore me.

Richarlison said he wants to see who comes in to Everton right? Zaha coming might please him

Chris Martin fails to agree a new contract with Derby County.

I'm sure I read somewhere that derby are one of the next clubs to struggle financially
