The Goggle Box Thread

Jeremy Clarkson has done more to raise the issues facing farming and rural communities in this series than Countryfile has done in the last 2 decades.

The Farm is seriously good TV with some great characters, Kaleb is a credit to young farmers.

Caleb is quite funny too......also am I allowed to say I find Clarksons missus quite hot

Not sure I only saw Kaleb 😀

Yes I think your judgement on Clarksons wife is justified.

It's a good show and presented in the sort of practical humour that anyone who's ever tried to do anything and just left endlessly frustrated can appreciate.

Just searched to see if anyone else watched it. Only just started on it and hooked already.
It's impossible not to watch with a big smile on your face.

Bob Odenkirk back on his feet* after a small heart attack (as he has called it) whilst filming the final season of BCS

*well more alive and doing ok considering.

Great news, love Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

Just started watching Counterpart. Got J K Simmons in it. Quite an unusual premise but really good so far.

Going back and watching Inside Number 9.
Some absolute brilliance in this show. Some fucking odd, a couple a bit meh and some that are just remarkable TV. The 12 Days of Christine episode is one of them. Bernie Clifton's Dressing Room is a great watch and I absolutely love a Quiet Night In.

It’s Jonathan Banks I’ve always worried about more making it to the end of the show.

Just had to laugh at Bez on Celebrity Masterchef.

They had to identify all the different ingredients in a dish. He started off by saying his pallette had been compromised because he'd just had a bag of crisps before he came in!

The sauce had red wine, beef stock and cream.

Bez put down beer, Bovril, butter and flour :D :D

Always find it funny watching Bez and Shaun Ryder on Gogglebox, get glimpses of some intelligence from Bez at times but can see it struggles to break through the goop left behind by all the drug abuse whereas Shaun just appears to be genuinely thick.

There can't be many circumstances where Bez is the smart one in the room!

No spoilers not watched it yet. Bez was on 5Live this evening with his partner, they live in the Herefordshire countryside. He's got a heart of gold. Shaun has quite severe dyslexia and is of an age when the state school system weren't interested. I don't think that and the drugs are what stopped him from entering MENSA, but worth mentioning

They're both decent guys deep down, Bez properly lucked himself into that world but hey, everyone deserves a break.

They're playing the festival that Mrs DW and I are going to next year in West Park (should have been this year), looking forward to it.

They do both come across as nice, genuine guys on Celebrity Gogglebox. Bez is on a lot of things at the moment but sure I read he lost a lot of money and faced financial ruin a few years back
