The Goggle Box Thread

Killing eve, such a rubbish ending to wrap the whole thing up, I’m so disappointed, series four has been very poor overall, series three wasn’t any great shakes either, mind you I think it should have finished after series two and gone out on a high, with a did they didn’t they both die type thing? So shows what I know

Just started it last night and the first two episodes weren’t very impressive. Not looking forward to finishing it now.

Series 1 and 2 were superb, series 3 terrible. This one has been a mixture of ok and meh, haven't seen the finale yet. I think they should have stayed closer to the original story line and kept it to 3 series max.

I’m about half way through Severance on Apple TV at the moment, it’s very strange but very intriguing at the same time - definitely making me want to find out how it’s all going to pan out.

I thought it was excellent. Well acted and probably the most original show I've seen out of the States for a long while.

If you’ve stuck with it so far, you’ll have to carry on with it, apologies if I’ve sort of spoilt it, you could have a different take on it.
There’s going to be a spin off series, not with Pam the embalmer new assassin as I’d thought, it’s going to be following a young Carolyn.

Oh I'll stick with anyway, I could just sort of tell it wasn't going to be very good from the first two.

The Jesus in drag part was just weird, I get why they did it but it added nothing really.

Wasn't that bad an ending ( a bit like the writers forgot they were finishing that episode) but again it was a bit like The Blacklist, started off the best show on telly but just ran out of ideas and they needed to keep the cashcow going.

Katla. One of the most bleak, soulless, weird, pointless series I've watched. Only finishing it out of morbid curiosity. Plus Ingvar Eggert has to be the biggest piece of wood actor I've ever seen in my life, has to be seen to be believed.
And he’s just cropped up in Killing Eve. Unless it’s his twin brother.

No it’s definitely Ingvar Eggert, he’s just as fucking bad in this.

Very excited for better call Saul tomorrow!!

Putting it on weekly and with a break after 6 episodes. Fook off Netflix

Will wait until August to watch it. Not doing some dodgy downloading (stopped doing that after I got 2 letters from Sky bollocking me!!)]

Just watched Spotlight again for the umpteenth time, stunningly powerful film

The Rising looks like it might be worth checking out. Trailers are very intriguing on Sky.

Watched the first episode and then the last to find out what happened, didn't grip me enough to watch all of it, but that's just me recently
