Live Match Discussion: 2020/21

Roy Keane labelling Walker an “idiot” and “car crash” on live tv. There’s being honest and there’s being just vile and inflammatory.
Yeah he doesn't even qualify it by saying he's good going forwards but terrible defensively. Just sits there fuming.

Absolute farce. Just scrap it ffs

Make that 0-3 Arsenal are annoying as fuck since restart wining when you don’t want them to but being absolute horse shit when you want them to perform

Bet Villa fans are very happy with Smith at the moment. Almost as if a patient approach can pay off...

A fair chunk of luck as well, Smith was most likely heading for the exit door as per the fans wishes (& villa for relegation) when lockdown landed.

It can do, and I defy you to find a more patient online enclave of Wolves fans than on TWF.

Patience is not synonymous with elite level football unfortunately, and your average fan won't be onside for as long as TWF if the generally uninspiring performances start to be matched by our results.

Whenever Nuno has been building and developing at Wolves, he's always still managed to get a tangible end product, whether it's promotion, an impressive consolidation season or doing well in Europe.

No one will want a mediocre season following all that unless there's tangible evidence that it's the start of a path towards more success. Your average fan will want to see that before too long, and I would imagine Nuno will too

Winks and Mount are a far better combination as the two in midfield rather than the shite of Phillips/Rice we’ve seen lately. I suppose it helps that the opposition aren’t up to much.

Villa v Brighton a decent watch so far.

Brighton lead thanks to Welbeck. Villa are pressing without creating much clear cut and Brighton have carved Villa open a few times on the counter.

#2 for Brighton has been incredible.

Been a really enjoyable game to watch!

Villa have been quite decent but bit of a blow for them to lose Barkley. Traore not the replacement they needed at all really. Brighton been good on the break as Lincs says, but get the feeling they will need to defend better in the second half.

How old is he? Looks about 16.

This is the problem for Villa really. They've managed to put together a decent first XI but beyond that they don't have much quality at all. If injuries/suspensions/lack of form hits their first XI they'll struggle to keep up their decent start.

Traore is a good player (just showed it there), but a weird replacement for Barkley.

1-1.
