Olympiacos FC (A) 12/03/20 - Following Nuno, Drinking The Ouzo

Just seen that the xG in the Arsenal/Olympiakos games was a total of 4.25 to 1.84 to Arsenal. Gunners only out because they missed their chances

Only saw the second leg but there was very little in that Olympiacos team that should be worrying us. We already signed their best player.

Were we not rumoured to be interested in their centre half? Big unit - about 6'6"

Clearly want to blow the tie apart tonight and get the fuck out of dodge with it as good as done before next week.

This competition should take priority anyway for whatever we have left of a season.

Not quite sure where you are going with this, but it’s an odd argument to make.

It's not the club's fault if you die. It's not the club's fault if matches have to be played behind closed doors owing to circs beyond their control so that STHs can't take their seats. I imagine most of the Prem clubs at least would refund, but there's no reason I can see that they're obliged to. The original comment was made in response to Kenny's concern for clubs lower down the pyramid. Sometimes things just happen and people miss out. If there's blame, there's a claim, but where does the blame lie here?

Suppose you die halfway through the season. Does the club have to refund your estate because you can't go?

No but think you’ll find in those circumstances the club allow a name change and spouse to take it on at no cost

They turn a blind eye to bequeathed STHs being used after the original holder dies. At least many clubs do, especially those with epic waiting lists.

Liverpool have many STHs who would be in the guinness book of records for their longevity.

Got a link? Or will that be blocked?

it's supposed to be available to people within greece only, so would need a vpn. unfortunately looks like my vpn doesn't have a greek option.

any updates on watching this for UK or abroad?

It’s on tv in UK.

Not their fault you can't go. It is their fault if they don't allow you in. Their claim would be against the body that enforced them to close the stadium.

Sorry this is nonsense. If you die your seat remains available and the games happen. If the seat remains in your estate it can be used by someone else. If they took it back to resell I’d expect they’d reimburse the estate.

In any event in consumer contracts there’s no way a consumer should bear the financial risk of cancellation over the multi million pound company selling the product. And in any event, if Wolves tried that it would be unenforceable under the Unfair Contract Terms Act.

Anyway, enough. Come on Wolves.

I kind of like being able to hear the players and coaches shouting.
