I'd keep Doherty at LB and bench Coady but otherwise I'd go with your team.

Although I'm greedy and want another signing before Saturday!

Wish I was going to this.

You're genuinely suggesting starting Coady at RB?

It'll be the same back 4 as v Rotherham, IMO. Agree with the rest of the team.

For me, I don't rate Mason and a midfield 2 of only Price & Evans worries me.

It's him there or Doherty at LB. Lesser of two evils.

All reports are that Doherty has lapsed back into being a gormless twat, when he's in that mode (as he has been for 80%+ of his Wolves career) he has a proven track record of costing us goals.

This is the team i would play as long as Walter is happy Costa will last at least 60, he obviously didn't start last night because he only thought he was fit enough for 45.

I think Mason will start, mostly because we've had two games now where things turned around when both him and Bodvarsson were playing together.

Defence will be the same as at Rotherham, Ikeme will be back in goal, so that leaves the midfield. Teixeira is guaranteed, Evans seems to be the favoured pick of the old crew from Zenga so far as well, so it's just a question of the wings. Henry's had two bad games so you'd think Costa would get his first start on the left, and then on the right I'd like to see Wallace again (he did well yesterday) but could just as easily be someone like Edwards or Saville shunted out there. Zenga came here with a reputation for playing players out of position and I think we'll see a fair bit of that over the season, even as squad depth improves.

Coady was better at RB last night than he is in CM and he played much better than Doherty who was terrible.

I'll go along with Deutsch's defence, purely because my personal opinion is that Hause looks better at LB than CB.

Not deemed good enough??

He was on the bench against Rotherham.

Deslandes will probably go out on loan once we get some more players in, he's clearly got some potential but also isn't ready for a first team spot.

Hoping for a match fit left back in before Sat.

I'd go with that and if Doherty stinks the place out shift the defence over and put Coady at RB.

That midfield 2 would get torn a new one against any half decent midfield.

I'd quite like us to go with Price, Evans and Teixeira as a trio however I can see us going 442 seeing as the previous two games both Jon Dadi and Mason have done better as a pair then when playing on their own. That said - in the first game we had Edwards as the support option for Bodvarsson so that would explain that. Teixeira may offer more behind the forward in terms of support and linking midfield and attack.

Edwards & Henry will almost certainly be involved. Walt keeps talking about how young the squad is and it needing experience which I do agree with but unfortunately the few experienced players we have are dogshit.

It makes a change from last season to see differing teams being discussed in the build-up threads.

Hause at LB? No thanks, he still has nightmares about Adomah. I'm not even sold on him as a centre back but he should improve with more playing time.

Coady at right back? After seeing him get skinned last night by a Crawley player I'd also rather not see that.

Leaves us with the least poor option, which is stick with last week's mediocre defensive choice. Or sign a couple of defenders tomorrow...
