Team v Charlton

Our game being watched in the Sky studios by Matt Le Tissier.

Iorfa makes a charge down the right and takes on two defenders who manage to clear. Then Afobe almost away but another good challenge.

Lovely cross field ball to VLP to KMac .. now Iorfa has it but it comes to nothing and Charlton leg it upfield.
Stearman with a great tackle releases Afobe who's off like lightning but a great tackle stops that attack.

Stearman wins the ball, to Henry who almost unlocks Charlton with a ball through to Afobe.

Tal Ben Haim just manages to get enough on it to prevent the breakaway

Edwards to Kmac long release to Afobe to Price and a dangerous low cross just too far in front of Afobe racing in... Very sharp.
Looks like we have a good idea how to unlock their defence.

Afobe holds ball up well and again it's fed out to van La Parra. Decent low cross but it's blocked.

Wish McCarey would stop saying 'so it is' every so often - we know it is cos you've just said so

Afobe fouled and the ref stops play when he could have let it flow as we had the ball and the crowd were starting to rise....
Blackpool 1 up v Watford.

Charlton ball into the box, but Vetokele offside - need to watch him seem to remember him being prominent in the fixture at their ground

Wish McCarey would stop saying 'so it is' every so often - we know it is cos you've just said so

Also, he has a fairly heavy Norn Ireland accent but monotone as you like and he puts an 'er' or 'erm' in about 3 times in every single sentence. Very hard to listen to.

Charlton trying to build but VLP breaks that up and swings it out to Edwards legging it into their half, but his pass to Iorfa was lacking and Charlton reverse the flow...

VLP wins the ball well, turns & breaks up the right with Iorfa outside him - good tackle stops that developing

Loose pass from Hause intercepted & Charlton break towards the box - good tackle from Batth snuffs out any danger

Game not quite going yet, bit of a flame here and there, but it needs fanning a good bit.
This way that way... Can you believe the local churchbells are going, is it Saint Wulfrans? How could you get married on matchday! Tch!!

Charlton breaking but Batth makes a great tackle after a sloppy tackle from Hause. We get this clear. Afobe has a throw, Henry gets it high to VLP to KMac as Stears ploughs in VLP worming his way into the box to KMac rolls a ball to Edwards looking for another goal, but whilst he makes a clean strike, it's saved easily.

Van La Parra run is checked after shot blocked, Ball drops to Edwards who lets fly but wide of the target.

Good play around the box culminates with VLP turning the FB on the left & te low cross is only just forced out -falls to KMac whose forward pass is met by Edwards, but the shot is just wide

Brentford 1-0 up against Norwich.

Great bit of play from Henry there but the keeper makes a good save.
Charlton nearly score there but the ball wasn't completely over the line but it sounded like a sneaky attack.

Now VLP is beetling down the touchline but his cross is blocked and Charlton break, but Danny Batth heads that back into the centre circle and it's all a bit like that really.
Back and forwards kind of stuff.
