I discounted them and Norwich as I don't think they'd pay the £15m or so Stoke would want.

This is the way they operate, high fees on young players before they come massively on the radar of anyone else, but they have way more misses than hits. They're also still putting all their money into playing operations. Doing bugger all about infrastructure.
