Really do not see Kenny sticking with the starting 11 from today at all. Maybe a shock return for Siggy

.............Tomasz K

Doherty.....Batth....EEL......Ricketts

........Evans.....Saville

McAlinden......Siggy..........Jacobs

..........Big Leon

Too many changes? Not enough with Batth still in or will he stick and just put Doherty at left back in the place of the Concussed* Hause.....

*E&S Slang for cup-tied apparently

I'll be going to this. It'll most probably be a poor game.

Kuszczak

Doherty Batth EEL Ricketts

Bancessi Evans Saville Jacobs

McAlinden Clarke

I can see McDonald playing possibly as he had a good rest as he was suspended for the initial tie. Any news on Golbourne? Was hoping he might be able to gert a run out.

With it being just 2 days after today's game it's hard to see anything but wholesale changes. I'd rather see a u21 striker (Keita, Reid, Wilson) than clarke tbh. Maybe room for someone like Torras or Hunte on the bench.

I think we may see Keita on the bench, maybe Weeks too.

Fulham will make changes too I think but I can't see it being the best game ever :icon_lol:

Does KJ have to select from the same players he named for the game at the Cottage or can he select players who weren't involved?

He can select who he wants as long as they eligible to play of course.

Anyone who was our player at the time and isn't cup tied I think. So Afobe wouldn't be able to play even if he was signed in time.

Afobe is cup tied anyway

I will be fucking angry if KJ makes wholesale changes, not against the team being freshened up with a couple but if its a completely different team it just makes a mockery of football in general. Also we have just got back to playing with a bit of fluency and balance so why bugger it up now

Are you serious?

Two days after a league game, and three games in seven days.

Of course he's going to make plenty of changes. I'd be more angry if he didn't tbh.

Yeah I am serious, I don't want any Wolves team to go into any game half arsed, if they do then I don't see the point in bothering. As for 3 games in 7 days, so what, thats pretty much what happens all season, they haven't played for over week, if professional players cant cope with that they're in the wrong sport. I'm not saying don't make any changes just don't disrupt the whole team

The Blackpool game is more important than this one.

I'll never agree that any game (apart from friendlies) is more important than any other, if you enter a competition, you should at least make some effort to win it whatever the odds, if you apply that thinking then whats the point in trying to get in the Premier league when we all know we will never win it

I'd love a cup run, but we have been poor in the cup for a long time. We are in good form in the league now, I really wouldn't want us to mess that up by having jaded players for the third game of the week.

Our failure to move this to Wednesday gives a strong hint as to what type of line up we can expect.

I know we are going to play a weaker side, I know it will be probably shit. I still think I might go. Ridiculous on my part.

Footballers love to play football. If they are fit, let them play.

KJ has already said that several games in 7 days is dealt with mainly in the head, and I hope he keeps faith with this by picking a side that will keep most of them playing together and winning together.

Reports are that Sig is off to reminisce about the glory days of autumn 2012 with Stale and join Copenhagen on loan this week. Also as he was ineligible for the first game I don't think he can play in this one. I don't think he'll play is the long and the short of it.

Same team as I would have put out last week, I haven't changed my mind about our priorities and nor have I decided that players used to play 65 games a season in 1962 so they should be able to run themselves into the ground now. Besides which, I'd rather play Charlton a week on Saturday when they're reeling from an unexpected managerial change than play Sunderland.
