We don’t defend well
Our keepers are dodgy
We have no pattern of play
We have no pace in wide areas
We don’t keep possession well
Limited threat from set pieces
We’ve nothing to get excited about

We are doomed to go down to the championship.

As embarrassing as it gets. Played all three promoted teams so far and lost all three.

Anyone want to still claim it’s not over?

I'm just resigned to it now. We aren't good enough in any area bar central midfield, where we only have two proper players for two slots, and the manager doesn't seem to get on with one very well and left the other out today.

Johnstone: Being better than José Sa is no kind of barometer of quality. I think he's crap on the first goal today too.

Hoever: Shocking footballer. No quality at all and an absolute disgrace on the second goal.

S Bueno: Plodder who does nothing well. Shite.

Krejci: I like him but bar his assist for the first goal, that was an awful first 45 minutes. Fighting fires everywhere, all the time.

H Bueno: Shit Lee Naylor.

André: Shakes his head more than 90s Frank Butcher in Eastenders. He isn't happy. He isn't playing very well either.

Bellegarde: Good work on the equaliser but otherwise he's an ineffectual coward.

Munetsi: Occasionally he will get you a goal. A diabolical footballer at this level though.

Arias: Shit Shaun Newton. And I hated Shaun Newton.

R Gomes: Far too weak, tries hard but he won't ever get you enough goals and assists.

Strand Larsen: Not really offering anything and please spare me the Richard Stearman PASHUN.

Subs: Well we didn't make them til too late, then they were the wrong ones.

Manager: Got to go, sorry.

Fucking hopeless.

Sack Pereira or keep him, makes no odds. This is a group of players with no attributes, no heart, nothing, and there's only one conceivable place they're going.

Yeah i'm going to change my mind from earlier in the week having only bothered to watch the last 25 minutes of shite this week (it was 2-2 so I thought I would take a look).....i would sack him after that. But then i'm a fan, not like im on a job interview FFS.

I don't know how he survives that, especially after some actual discontent towards Jeff I think he probably panics and looks to solve it with a different manager.

I get everyone here is a bit wiser than this, but the people thinking the championship reset is needing, want to have a glance at the table there. None of the three relegated sides higher than 10th, and the bottom half is full of previous Prem sides that got cast adrift, there is nothing to show we would rebound and come back stronger, regardless of how poor this lot are.

Jeff probably thinks this is all part of the plan.

Even if a championship reset was needed I wouldn’t want it, I hate that fucking league

Not even sure what the answer is here.

Vitor is obviously actively harming us now, our football is really awful and one-dimensional (and not even effective), and the way he sets us up and his in-game decisions are equally poor. Shame as he's a nice fella, but there's nothing more for him here.

Club is obviously rotten from the top, and I couldn't tell you who we'd get in and whether that would improve us.

And our playing staff is probably the poorest since the lot that Saunders took down, so I don't think there's much to work with anyway. Players who can't even pass the ball to each other, no clue going forward, and the worst GK cohort we've ever had at any level. A back four with Hoever and both Buenos in it in 2025 almost beggars belief, combined with about half a dozen Hwang-level players, and the mediocre dross we signed in the summer...what a time to be a Wolves fan :D

Think I'll drink a fucking bottle of Bailey's to myself tonight

Even if we’d have nicked that hard to see that the psychological uplift would’ve got anywhere near bridging the quality deficiencies.

The players are just terrible and I mean really bad. The transfer window has been an unmitigated disaster.
If your new RB isn’t deemed good enough to get in ahead of Hoever then it’s an appalling signing.
Why the fuck have you signed Tolu and Fer if they barely play?
Arias looks like he’s on year out trip of all PL grounds as a tourist.
Where is the win coming from? Shit players often return from international break and return to default form.
The Spurs and BHA games were us overperforming and the opposition being shite.
The fanbase is being humiliated.

It pissed me off to see the multiple Wolves players constantly trying to 'gee up' the crowd too whenever they won a throw-in or whatever.

No amount of cheering and whooping can make you, your shit manager or our shit owners good enough

I don’t care enough to drown my sorrows. I am not particularly angry. I am not overly bothered. The slow, but ultimately terminal decline of this club, has eroded any real passion. Worse still is watching clubs of a similar stature getting it right. There’s a couple of players I enjoy watching, the majority not. Nobody to make you excited, nobody to give you hope that they can produce something out of nothing. Watching players “whipping up the crowd” when we have a corner is just more evidence of how desperate we are…do they really believe that a bit of arm waving is what is needed?
