Majority of us thought he'd be average at best. Played to his ceiling, put everything into it and ended up being pretty good. A bit like Saiss I guess but his story is a little different as he played in midfield and you could argue wasn't quite as good there

I've defended Adama and his one good season for a while on here (until even I got fucked off with him over the past year or so), so would be hypocritical of me to omit him, as I really tried with him

Doc too, I know he has a gormless face and was shit for us before Nuno, but I like his story at Wolves, and I enjoyed the position that was created for him, and his odd goal. Again, someone I've defended previously so can't pretend I didn't now!

Honourable mentions to Saiss and Bennett, and Alan for going N'Diaye!

Edit...of course Doc was signed way before Fosun so I guess he doesn't qualify... Replace with Saiss
