Fulham 0 - 0 Wolves - Verdict Thread

Open top bus tour of Wolverhampton?

Bit late for a matchday thread Frank :icon_wink:

Which stand will they open for the replay I wonder - cough cough.

Smallest one probably.

Shots on target would indicate that we created the better chances, but not much use if we don't put any of them in. Will be keen to see the Clarke chance from Sako's shot onto the post which sounded our best opportunity

I know there are rules with regards to the pricing and how low you can put it but I hope Wolves are pro-active with this game and do something to try and ensure a decent attendance for the replay. At this moment in time I doubt 10k from us and less than 500 from the away team being bothered with it.

Apparently it wouldn't have counted as he was offside

Worst outcome for the club, players and fans.

From what I can gather, dull performance, poor result and a replay.

I wonder what the score will be in the penalties after another 0-0.

What a shit competition. Magic of the cup my arse.

£10 is the minimum price I think (unless they have changed the rules). Doubt I would bother at half that price.

Quite agree. Are they still allowed to do kids for a quid?

Get a favourable draw, and we could be looking at the fifth round. Though I know we must beat Fulham first.

What a waste of time that was. Very frustrating, a complete non-event for the most part. Still, we're in the hat. Man United away or Albion at home please.

Leon Clarke's miss was absolutely dreadful and I hope we can replace him in this window. Someone who could hit a barn door if you will Ken.

Ah, the romance of the FA Cup!

Don't normally comment on football matters that often nowadays but I would imagine when the the attendance's are seen plus line up's it will reveal another nail in the coffin of cup football.

I think that in seasons past we would have accepted a replay after being drawn away. One extra game is hardly going to kill the players. It is not as if they are overworked.

Doesn't help that we play on the Sunday before v Blackburn. Can see some changes in personnel for the replay

Unusually positive outcome for us from a cup match

Happy to still be in the pot for the 4th round

Evans, Henry, Doherty etc all get decent run outs

We use up another few matches hopefully so Sako will miss less of our league programme
