Lopetegui said he wasn't in the squad for tactical reasons yet he had another wide forward in Campbell on the bench.

That's not even counting RAN who he now plays further forward a lot, Cunha can fill one of those wider positions if necessary and Chiquinho to come back next season.

I know you are so deep into the Guedes is wank stuff and got lost but he was liked and rated back in Spain by Valencia fans, so no worry about teams having watched him and being put off.

He falls into the Willian Jose category of signings for me. Just need to hope the Mendes link means we are not massively out of pocket on transfer fees

We will probably loan him out if needs be so that we can get that space back and he can play some football. There will be takers for him on loan, just have to hope it doesn't go the way of some of our other players in the past where they get devalued with each unsuccessful loan to the point where they are worth nothing.
