Loan Watch 2018-2019

Could be an exciting move for him as they're challenging for promotion to the Primeira Liga.

Not gonna be on the bench saturday then...

Good to see us exploring more loans outside the UK though.

As I think has already been mentioned - Seedorf has been loaned to Jumilla

From this weekend;

Bright Enobakhare - Coventry City, League One.

Another start, this time at home to Blackpool and put in a fairly anonymous 65 minutes in a 2-0 defeat.

Ethan Ebanks-Landell - Rochdale, League One.

A full game for EEL in a 2-1 defeat at Barnsley. The ball went through his legs for their first and he picked up a booking late on.

Harry Burgoyne - Falkirk, Scottish Championship.

Handed his debut vs Inverness and started strongly making two fine saves but was then rooted to the spot as the visitors took the lead. Not much he could do about the second though which flew past him. Made another good stop towards the end as his team battled to a 2-2 draw.

Rafa Mir - Las Palmas, Spanish Segunda División.

A full game in a goalless draw at Gimnastic. Had a 25 yard rasping drive tipped over the bar late on and almost scored with a glancing header off the corner which the keeper just managed to keep out.

FC Jumilla. Yang and Leak both got 90 minutes at Granada B, with the latter scoring his first goal for the club to win the game. Hanne appeared for the last 15 minutes.

Unused subs - Batth, Hause, Goodliffe, Deslandes.

Not in squad - Miranda (after playing 90 minutes of a 3-1 cup win mid-week), Ashley-Seal, Seedorf, Ofosu-Ayeh.

Jordan Graham played just over an hour of Oxford's 2-2 draw with Barnsley on Tuesday, wasn't involved in either goal though, while Roderick Miranda played the full game of a 4-0 league win for Olympìacos last night.

Donovan Wilson to Exeter for the remainder of the season.

German Phil to Würzburger Kickers until the end of the season.

Bonatini's been confirmed at Forest and Iorfa's having a medical at Wednesday.

Iorfa is going to be a Permanent deal by the looks of it. Presume free transfer with a sell on clause.

Brucie likes collecting right backs. Wasn't he using 4 along his back line just before cabbages were being lobbed at him.

Ruddy, Jack, joins UD San Sebastian on loan & Ronan to FC Dac

Looks like we've got another great loan going with Hause. Chester missed out today for Villa, Smith decided to put Mings in at centre half (alongside Elphick, who has been bombed out on loan himself for pretty much 12 months) and leave Kortney on the bench. I know he didn't cover himself in glory on his debut but seriously, why do managers do this? Why are you loaning players - and spending money in the process - then never using them?

From this weekend;

Leo Bonatini - Nottingham Forest, The Championship.

Came on after an hour at Blues but couldn't repeat last year's heroics at St Andrews. Had once chance that he 'acrobatically' sent just wide but the game finished 2-0 to the hosts.

Bright Enobakhare - Coventry City, League One.

Played a full game at home to Gillingham and scored his first for the club, slotting the ball home from a rebound after starting the move by breaking away impressively from the opposition's penalty area. Coventry let in a late equaliser though so it finished all square.

Ethan Ebanks-Landell - Rochdale, League One.

Another full game for EEL at Walsall and also got his first goal, rifling home a half-volley from a corner to open the scoring. Finished 2-1 to the visitors.

Jordan Graham - Oxford United, League One

Had a frustrating 90 minutes in a MOTM display at 10 man Burton. Created several chances from the left wing but his team-mates just couldn't convert them.

Harry Burgoyne - Falkirk, Scottish Championship.

Given another start and kept a clean sheet in a 3-0 win against Partick, making two fine saves in the process.

Aaron Hayden - Stourbridge, Evo-Stik Premier.
90 minutes in a 1-0 defeat.

FC Jumilla. Yang, Leak and Hanne started but the team struggled in the first half, going two goals down. Hanne was replaced at HT followed by Yang for Seedorf (making his debut) after an hour but the scoreline remaing the same.

Unused subs: Hause, Wilson, Miranda, Deslandes, Ofosu-Ayeh.

Not in squad: Johnson, Ruddy.

No game: Goodliffe (postponed), Mir (play tomorrow), Herc, Ronan & Zyro (winter break), Ashley-Seal.

EEL is a proper goal machine in L1. Over a full season I reckon he'd outscore Mason, Cassidy and McAlinden combined.

Yeah, his record is pretty impressive! He must have got 5 or 6 for Sheffield Utd a few years ago and didn't he also get a couple for us in the Championship?

Rafa Mir got a full game against Zaragoza tonight in a 1-1 draw. Failed to score again meaning just the one goal for him since late October.

Daniel Csoka is also out on loan at DAC along with Herc and Ronan.

Didn't see that, cheers.

In other news, Roderick Miranda played another full game in a cup play-off which finished 3-3, presumably the first leg.
