Man Utd 0-1 Wolves: Verdict Thread

It was a free kick taken by Neves, goal given to Neves. End of discussion. The fact he scored it on a day I took my daughter to a University open day and she finishes in 6 weeks tells you how long ago it was, which is ridiculous really
 
Felt for JSL a bit. We seemed to be playing more direct/long into him compared to normal? Nothing stuck - not sure if it was a deliberate tactic, but if it was, it didn’t work. Marshall generally poor & Cunha didn’t break into a jog in the first half. It sounds so, so weird to say it, but we genuinely have looked a better TEAM over the last few weeks without Cunha in it, compared to today. Was crying out for a change & although it came later than expected, what an impact it made.

Genuine moment of quality from Sarabia. Was fully expecting it to happen the other way around with the amount of free kicks Jones had given them & Bruno coming on, so it’s beyond a pleasure (and a surprise) that the game panned out the way it did. If only Rodrigo had squared it to Sarabia for a tap in to make it 0-2 and those final moments would have been more comfortable, but in reality, Utd were terrible and created next to nothing.

Not a vintage performance but you just can’t help but admire what Vítor has done since taking over. Cracking run of results & with Leicester up next, we have a real opportunity to go 6 unbeaten which in the PL, is some going. Well done to all involved.

Will never understand this phenomenon. Football, gigs, whatever. When are you ever going to watch that video you fucking clown. The quality will be shocking and you've just spent your own time holding your phone up and not watching it properly.

The massive idiot in front of me in my old NB seat used to film the players coming out before kick off. Every single game. So 19 identical, pointless, worthless videos a season.

100% agree.

If you want to watch it again watch it on YouTube or whatever after, enjoy the moment, in the moment.

But then we are old bastards...

Nah, that's pap. O'Shea fell down days before the end of the window. He'd have taken anyone over nobody, that's Shi/Hobbs spin

The spin is he was on the list and no approach was made as GO was only interested in a defender that knew the PL.
We know we tried for Dara but others that never leaked out.
I reckon Keane from Everton was one we asked about as we had a random link to him recently.

I think if Agbadou had arrived under GO he would have Djiga'd him anyway
 
Not the best performance of the season but one thing you can guarantee with this Pereira side is that they'll stay in the game until the end. In stodgy games like that it's often that one but of quality which can decide it, luckily we had Pablo Sarabia over the free kick and they had Mount & Højlund on the end of their biggest chances.

If only Rodrigo had squared the ball to Pablo for 2-0, that would've been perfect.
