We were not given a chance but in what was not a great game Andy Gray tapped home the winner.

Mine is definitely by a country mile the play off final in 2003. 11 years old for the league cup victory and can't remember if it made me cry of happiness

Great day at Wembley and a second League Cup victory for us to savour in 6 years. Who would have guessed what would happen to us in those dark days of the 1980s? Had anyone told me that we would be playing at Wembley again, eight years later, as a Fourth Division club, I would have had them certified!
