Re this case, Barton said he’d pay costs, then said they were too high and he wasn’t paying them, went back to court, lost and now has to pay out a total of £516,000.
If he doesn’t pay, court have ruled Vine can legally take Barton’s house as payment, and if that makes Barton homeless, Vine can have Barton as a tenant and make him pay rent.

My eldest bagged a late sale ticket for the second night in Cardiff through a friend of his and said it was amazing. As disappointed as I was for not getting tickets in the initial sale I was delighted for him as he’d been to no end of the Liam concerts over the years. No loyalty points on ticketmaster though.

I was up in Edinburgh not too long ago, on top of those 2 Edinburgh staples the beer in the Bow Bar (which also has a superb whisky selection) and the Jolly Judge just off the Royal Mile was top notch. Jolly Judge had Newbarns 80/- which was the best cask beer I had in 2024.

Also booked a short stay in Dudley for next week! Off to the BCLM (I've only ever been there for work purposes), followed by a trip the following day into Brum (Barbara's idea).

Just spent a superb couple of days in Cardiff. So many nice pubs and restaurants all in the centre, a bit further out the same on the Bay (20-25 min walk) and a wee bit of culture at the Castle.

Will definitely be back.
