Well, we have the 'things that annoy you thread', so in the interests of balance and positivity I thought I'd start this with a few things that make me happy and smile (other than family, loved ones and Wolves wins of course):

Vapour trails in a clear blue sky
The smell of freshly cut grass
The cold side of the pillow
Fresh sheets
Having a shower when I'm tired
Melted butter on hot toast
Cold beer on a hot day
Kids pretending they've got a joke when they clearly haven't
Hearing a favourite song in an unexpected place
Phone calls from people I haven't spoken to in ages
The sound of a full on out of control belly laugh

There are loads more but I don't want to bore everyone. Some of these are cliches, but the thing about cliches is they are usually true, and some of these things are just nice and make me happy! Feel free to share the things that make you happy rather than over indulge in the things that annoy you thread...It's good for the soul.

Edit: My money is on this getting much less of a response than the things that annoy us...

The feeling a couple of hours after a very intense workout or match, whatever you catch my drift
Nostalgia in all kind of forms
Taking a shit
Kate Upton
A warm breeze
Stepping out of an airport in a country you've never seen before

There's a few for the moment.

I see your cold side of the pillow and raise you a cold side of the quilt.

I love knowing i haven't got to get up for anything in the morning and being able to stop up playing games or watching pointless TV until stupid o'clock, something i can hopefully get back to after tomorrow after finishing my dissertation, shame i'll have to give it up forever soon if i find a proper job.

The greatest feeling ever was a "snow day" when you were at school. The joy of getting up in the morning, radio on, and hearing "All schools in Walsall are closed". Get in. I'll be playing on my Megadrive all day, then.

These days, I get a lot of satisfaction from my dicking around on Excel sheets with my Wolves stuff. I lead quite a sad existence sometimes.

Otherwise, a Saturday morning walk when the sun is shining on a crisp February morning. Oh aye. Best part of the week.

I agree with pretty much all of that Toon, especially the bits in bold.

I really really like:
Being fully content in love/life/music/sports etc, ( I achieved this from 2007-09 in all aspects of my life, was in a relationship with an amazing girl, playing to 750 people every 6 months or so, and witnessing Wolves get promoted at Molineux),

Seeing Kevin Doyle score....,

Australian Wine, red or white, doesn't matter, I love em both,

Socialising,

Flirting,

History

The company of friends
Civilised conversation over a few beers in a really nice pub
Good food
Cooking good food
Hot weather and sunshine
Getting off a plane in Brisbane and knowing I am about see my brother for the first time in a while
Getting a song note for note perfect on the guitar
A good book, well-written
Taking said book and a glass of wine for a soak in the bath
Being with Squeeze*

*feel free to vomit if this is too sickly sweet for you

I'm more concerned about you turning into a woman. A glass of wine and a book in the bath?!

Childrens laughter
My family
Nat Geo/History Channel on TV
Experimenting with food
Watching my garden flourish after many months of back breaking hours and digging bloody lots of holes for plants!
Memories of my mom/dad! :)

Receiving a phone call from my 4 yr old Grandaughter asking me to get her some jammie dodgers and fruit shoots.
Home match day.(sat 3pm preferably).
Getting on a plane to Australia.
Getting of that fucking plane after 22 hrs.
Red wine.
Holdens Glow.
The English Riviera by Metronomy, courtersy of my son.

Sometimes it is a can of lager to be fair.

Good. It's me who's the forum metrosexual, not you. Still a bit girly though.

Back to things I like;

A proper breakfast sandwich. Bacon, egg and mushroom on crusty bread being a personal favourite. No better way to start the day.
Acting daft and singing like a loon to music TV on a Friday night. I'm a vocal superstar in my own head. People who have heard me disagree.
Memories of my Grandad, my favourite person to ever walk this planet.
Talking about football. Sounds obvious as we're erm, on a football forum, but I could talk all day about it, every day, and never get bored.
Getting fit after years of not being able to get fit due to injury and illness. Exercise is great for the mind as well as the body.

Real ale
Days out with my awesome family
Seeing my daughter constantly smiling after all the problems she's had since New Year
Relaxing in front of the xbox and swearing like a trooper
The word 'juxtaposition'
Kenny's Bumblebee toy
Inserting 'Partridgeisms' into everyday conversations to other people's annoyance
Hogging the juke box down the local
Glastonbury
The giving/receiving of Top Gun-style 'high 5's'
Talking to random people at house parties
Mick McCarthy
Picking up a guitar and strumming a few tunes

Memories of my Dad
The first pint on a Friday night after a long week
The walk to the ground through the subway for a big game
The opening bars of Arcade Fire's Tunnels. Magical
Leaving the airport in a hot country to be greeted with the hairdryer effect
Memories of my wedding- spectacular day
Hearing my nephew's laugh

Well i could say yes to virually all of the above, so i'll try and add a few not already covered.

Walking my dog along the beach in the winter when the waves are crashing in and the wind is trying it's best to get my hat and clothes off.
Sunday morning , having a 'winnie the pooh with the sunday papers' most times now it's a book here.
cooking for friends.
Sitting around the table in my dining room with good friends, still talking, hours after the Sunday breakfast was finished, but with a fresh pot of tea and coffe on the table.
Working out a problem, (usually something i'm making) and seeing the solution to the construction actually work.
Getting up early and taking two steaming cups of tea back to bed when my lady is staying over, doesn't happen often, as she lives in Germany, and her husband doesn't approve.
Sitting the whole day in a little cafe at the square in Monte Marte, Paris. Starting with croissants and hot chocolate, wine, bread and cheese for lunch, and a good steak and thowe silly, thin, french pomme frittes for supper, and watching the world pass by for the whole day.

I want that life...

sex when hungover, or plan B, smashing one off when hungover.

Hungover sex is hardwork, i was on the first part of a stag do the day before my girlfriends birthday last year, obliging for birthday sex that day nearly killed me, luckily i threw up beforehand.
