Don't think VAR can rule on that tbf.
On whether the ball goes out? They have done.Don't think VAR can rule on that tbf.

Ah, understood.Don't think they can go back and do that after the corner has been awarded. If it's from open play they would.
I think the assessment of Jackson is quite strange to be honest because i thought today was by far the best we’ve seen him overall. Made plenty of clearances especially in the air and his 1v1 defending against Minteh was very good as it had to be in second half.
There’s obviously a caveat to that as he did needlessly give away the corner for the goal and did switch off slightly but so did everyone else and the marking of Van Hecke was appalling. He should be disappointed with his role in the goal though.
When it comes to attacking his output isn’t brilliant and his decision making isn’t great in the final third but his positioning, being so “deep” is obviously the plan in a back four. Doc did exactly the same last week and we know he likes to get forward but it must be because Arias drifts and we don’t want to have too much space in behind on that side with no cover and Santi not so mobile. Reason i think this is because when he’s played wing back he’s been really high in the build up much like Semedo was last season once Vitor took over. I actually think in both instances he’s not being used correctly as it actively reduces our options on the ball whether he’s too high or too deep.
Yeah he got nominated for Premier League player of the month for September. Got absolutely pocketed today though.I agree with this. My mate is a Brighton fan and was bigging Minteh up before the game, basically said he'd been their best player by a mile this season - "he's absolutely class and just a nightmare for full backs" - and I don't think he's had a sniff basically.
Yep, I’m quite open to being in the wrong as some good judges have blasted them on here, but I didn’t see anything glaringly wrong with either full back today. Jackson seemed to win a good number of battles in the second half in particular. He’s offering Jack shit going forward, but that’s one area where we can’t say there is a meaningful drop off from Nelson. All this said, please don’t imagine I can’t see we’ve massively downgraded both wing backs despite having a complete 5-a-side team of them to pick from.I think the assessment of Jackson is quite strange to be honest because i thought today was by far the best we’ve seen him overall. Agbadou substitution was on 60 minutes, Brighton scored on 86 minutes...Re the brighton goal.
Not only did i find bringing agbadoo on wierd, the timing of it was shit.
Brighton saw the wolves players still discussing who was playing where and took advantage with a very quick corner which found our defenders nowhere snd marking no one.
Make krejci captain, and i tbink he will sort that back four himself.
Yeah the Agbadou sub was not the reason we were on the back foot or conceded in isolation. What needed to happen if you’re going to make that sub is get Munetsi and Arias closer to Larsen and get the wingbacks higher. We could have gone a bit longer then, turned Brighton round and played in their half. Unfortunately we did none of that and then it was only a matter of time especially when we went to no striker in the pitch.Agbadou substitution was on 60 minutes, Brighton scored on 86 minutes...
The Agbadou incident just reflects the downside of signing older players. Like he’d walked purposefully into the room then couldn’t remember what he’d gone there for.I thought Agbadou was fine, one pass went out of play but that was Wolfe's fault.
He probably should have scored though...
All good pointsGot to go down as two points dropped I'm afraid. We look better organised than we did a month or so ago but there's a serious lack of flair and so if you're 1-0 up and they're not really hurting you, we have to hold on. We didn't.
Johnstone: Very decent again with one stunning save. Definitely #1 now
Tchatchoua: Oh dear. Did alright in general but why are you knocking that out for a corner, it was obviously going out anyway. Ridiculous and cost us the game
Krejci: Excellent again
S Bueno: In the best run he's ever been on, keep it going
H Bueno: Shit Lee Naylor
André/J Gomes: Tons of industry between them but they don't create
Arias: I'm still not sure on him. Shocking miss
Munetsi: About the best you'll ever get out of him
Hwang: Atrocious
Strand Larsen: Very good and unlucky not to score. But if he's coming off then surely Tolu has to come on?
Subs: Not much to note other than Bellegarde is fucking shite.
Much to do, still.
Go on Nick..I don’t actually think that Tchatchoua knows the difference in the requirements of a right full back, and a right wing back
