Maybe we can have the best of both worlds here. Keep them in the league and every year they participate in the ESL, fine them the income cost of that and give them a 40 point deduction until they leave it.

Prem Leage meeting tomorrow for the 14 non SL clubs

UEFA also looking at the options of removing the clubs from this season's UEFA tournaments.

So that would leave - Champs League - PSG & Europa League - Roma and Villareal

The player ban won't include this summers Euro's as a ban will only start once someone has played in the SL

Isn't it 14 clubs/votes needed for agreeing new rules in the PL? If so then that's an easy way to screw over any SL teams.

Excellent. We won't ban them from the PL then. New rule proposal though:

"All clubs in favour of deducting 100 points from any club playing in the SL per season say aye?"

The EFL can follow suit.

So I've finally caught up with this thread and I've had my say elsewhere but will go ahead with it in here too...

Del put it very concisely earlier on saying they should just fuck off. i would like to add that when they do fuck off they shoud get to that place and fuck off some more.

The PL needs to stand strong against them. Tell the "6" that they have taken this declaration as their notice of resignation from the Premier League and that the resignation has been accepted. They should then use this opportunity to restructure the PL as the remaining teams see fit. It is a greed move by greedy people with no vested interest in Football or in the English (or Spanish, French, German or Italian) game.
Great, they've sorted out a TV deal and massive loans from a bank to set it all up, see ya then. Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out

I know it doesn't matter but on Twitter there are a lot of contrarians and 'own the libs' types trolling genuinely concerned fans and trying to make out this is a good move...

Also quite a few bots spouting the same scripted ESL endorsements on multiple threads...

All those people who think a majority of clubs will vote to alter these rules, raise their hands now. Expulsion of a club is within the list of punishments for breaking the rules of the Premier League, including these.

(and yes, they'll need to be changed for next season to take account of the UEFA Conference League)

I've read that the person who looked after Comms for Teresa may is involved here

Well that twat Holloway just proves yet again what Mark Twains once said: "It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."
i've just read holloways quote in the guardian. perhaps you should too. i think you would feel that you should be taking twains advice more than holloway.

G-Nev is going to be a great watch on MNF tonight. I’m *almost* looking forward to it as much as Line of Duty last night...

Would doubt that this will actually happen - PL, UEFA & FIFA should just say that any team entering is barred from other comps & they will need to rethink.

If the PL want to still have a 92 team pyramid then there are a number of fully pro teams in the National (many of whom have been in the EFL at some point, would need a reorganisation below that level, but that happens every year anyway)

If there is less money in the PL then not sure that that is bad as most clubs merely throw it at players/clubs either in tranfers fees or wages.

The Ball. The Song. The Dream.

The Zidane’s volley... Kaka’s Solo... Liverpool In Athens... Ole in Barcelona... Cris and Seedorf ...
There some things we just can’t really pay for it.

Liked by several of our players and Bruno Fernandez too who has replied 'Enorme'

Immediately relegate all 6 clubs to the National League and fine them each £100m. Promote the current top 6 from the Championship, promote the top 6 in League 1 etc... Take the £600m gathered in fines and distribute equally among all the league clubs and allow those clubs to compete and survive for many, many years to come.

does all this mean Big Sam will survive another season without being relegated from the Premier League?
