He’s a fucking shit cook by the look of it too. Plus if claiming the super cheap, maybe leave the bottle of Sherry and what looks like a gin and tonic out of the shot

Charnwood (Leics) has the highest rate in the East Midlands yet is still in Tier 1.
I thought the idea of tiers was to make it transparent how you moved into them. It’s all bollocks, cases are flying up everywhere and the country needs to address the increases. If only there was a plan from the scientists weeks ago as to how to halt the rise in cases....

I think rather than just infection rates other factors are involved such as hospital capacity. But yeah, the idea of clarity and transparency went right out the window...

Van Morrison's new song 'No More Lockdown' just appeared on my Spotify Release Radar.

The guy is a fucking nutjob.

Strongly rumoured that France will go into a form of lockdown for four weeks, Macron on TV tonight. Primary schools to remain open but 7pm-6am curfew and stricter still on weekends.

stepdaughter is planning going out trick or treating.

FFS, what is wrong with people?

I'd agree with you regardless of the pandemic.

I’m sure we will get some sweets in just in case but aren’t the police asking people to avoid trick or treat as well as Halloween and bonfire night parties?

Can't understand why anyone would want to go trick or treating during these times. For the first time ever on Halloween I won't be opening my door.

Any time.

"Send your kids round to random houses of people you don't know asking for sweets, otherwise they'll chuck stuff at your windows" is a fucking nonsense concept.

Two words here, one of them is "off".

tbf on our estate there is an unofficial rule that if you have a pumpkin outside then you welcome trick or treating. On the actual night it is normally really nice and good fun, loads of kids laughing and running around - not happening this year though.
