Live Match Discussion: 2020/21

Arsenal would have to lose all 4 games for us to pass them and even then I wouldn’t put money on us picking up 5 points (depends what team United put out on last day before final). Villa possible but still unlikely. They could easily lose 3 of the last 4 but will probably pick up the 2 points they probably need to finish ahead of us.

I don't know when or why the Count of Monte Bisto started slouching around in his seat rather than sitting like a normal person, but it's so irritating.

If he wants me to add 1 x PL relegation to his CV for him, I'll happily do so at 9pm. I'll also throw in the one for Notts County that he doesn't like to mention.

Four pens in that 10 (he obviously wouldn't take them here) so chalk those off.

I don't mind him but he'd cost too much for what he is, he can properly drift out of games a lot (like all but the elite who play in his style, I suppose) and they wouldn't sell him to us anyway.

10 goals, 5 assists

4 of those goals have been penalties. Those aren't bad numbers playing in a rubbish team

Edit. I guess the question is about whether he's better than Pod, Neto or Traore?

Not even close to Neto. Wouldn't compare him to Adama, not the same kind of player.

Podence maybe, but even we don't seem to know where to play him, plus we'd probably take a loss on him as it stands and then have to pay way more than that to get Pereira. Doesn't seem worth it to me.

Yokuslu is the only one of their other players who I reckon looks decent at this level (well he's not theirs, you know what I mean though) but we do not need another CM who never scores.

So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye... hope Allardyce finds himself out of work never to find employment again. He's an utter cunt.

I reckon he will stay. All his jobs recently have been rescue missions (obvs one failed).
He will fancy a crack at promotion.

Depends on budget, he never does anything on a shoestring these days. The money (wages mainly) he had at West Ham was obscene and they still didn't finish in the top two.

The owner has no money and they don't have too much to sell. These players weren't particularly impressive under Bilic, Brentford just shat the bed.

Johnstone and Perreira will want to move on, Gallagher and AMN are loans leaves them looking very average. Don’t envisage a big summer spend just another loan market raid.

Having said that the championship is looking like a very weak league already for next season.
