We either have 2 decent squad fillers on our hands or in 12-18 months Mendes is moving them on to another club and we get our money back.

Seems a bit weird, think this is a favour to Mendes as discussed earlier. For one, one of the players is a small winger and secondly from Thelwells comments they aren't going to play in the first team straight away so I expect these 2 will play some under 23 games and occasionally maybe make the bench for some Europa games but have these 2 really shown anything to suggest they're worth nearly 20m? Probably not.

If we have spent the fee reported its not a win unless they work out to be useful surely? Am sure the money could be better used on targets to make an actual first team impact.
