I was at the (a?) game when Knocker sat on the ball, and my memory (bad as it is now) is telling me it was Nottingham Forest too. My first Wolves hero was Knocker - great player and entertainer. I couldn't believe it when he jacked it all in ...
Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but this seemed the place to put it. :)
Has anyone else seen this and what do we think?

A quote from Phil McNulty on the BBC Football site in his largely negative assessment of last night's match:
"It was a good break for Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Conor Coady, who made a very assured (not to mention very vocal) England debut, taking responsibility for marshalling his new...
I know these showreels can be deceptive, but I do like the look of him. He wins the ball well, and is immediately looking for that incisive forward pass, or sets off on one of his own mazy runs. He's also not bad at the long crossfield ball to the wingbacks, à la Coady. And he's not afraid to...
As a Wolves fan all my life, and with the exception of the brief successes in the 70s/80s (final of the EUFA Cup, two League Cup wins and a fourth place in the old Division 1) there hasn't been a great deal to get excited about, but reading that article brings home just how far this club has...
Don't know if anyone else has posted this article. Quite decent, I'd say.

After what Nuno has achieved with both Doc and Coady, I wouldn't give up on Traore just yet. He has made some improvement this season, certainly in an attacking sense, but I think he has got a lot of work to do on the defensive side of his role. Whether or not he has the capability to turn this...
Agreed. I started watching it and couldn't finish either. It seems unbelievable now, but already I am yearning for the return of the Judas/Britney lads bantz show.
I'm glad somebody else asked that! ;)
As one who watched Wolves all through their foray into Europe in the early seventies, I must say how wonderful it is to see my team back in Europe and doing so well. Let's hope we go one better this time! :)
Agreed. I've been a fan of the mic'd up rugby refs for some time and I like the idea of being able to hear the ref's thought processes in explaining a decision instead of the crowd being in the dark as to why a certain decision has been made. Food for thought?
Rather than a Coady upgrade, from this video it looks like he would certainly slot into the RCB position instead of Bennett. Appears to have a cool head, reads the game well, can clear with head or foot or control if feasible and pick out a pass to a colleague, short or long.
