We sacked Walter Zenga

Just goes to show how much can change in one year. We had just 16 points from 14 games when we sacked Walt.

And the team for his final game:

Ikeme; Silvio, Batth, Hause, Doherty; Costa, Edwards, Saiss, Teixeira; Dicko, Bodvarsson

Subs: Lonergan, Stearman, Coady, John, Oniangue, Cavaleiro, Gladon

It seems a LOT longer than 12 months ago.

Such a horrible performance :icon_lol: Went sort of 4-4-2 for no real reason, didn't look like we'd practised it at all before, Tex sort of just floated around rather than playing on the left, Doherty was abysmal and produced a truly laughable error for the goal, Hause spent most of the game lamping it out of play, Bod spent the last 20 minutes arguing with Zenga, Luciano Butti seemed to be issuing the instructions pitchside and we brought Ola John on.

But otherwise okay?

On paper that's not a bad team....:stirthepot:

Apart from the superficial damage to the boxes, and that ones melted into a cricket ball lump, yea it's all good news

Amusing that some actually thought Nuno would be more of the same considering he's bald, bearded, 'forrun' and used to be a keeper
