Man arrested for Racism

I do think people think for themselves, the problem being is their source material is very much aligned to their own feelings, there is even cases of it on this site, somebody will quote the most insignificant persons Tweets without any thought to the legitimacy of the content as long as it reinforces their viewpoint. Education of current and future generations of youth is the only way to eradicate this blight, shouting and berating people only makes them defensive, retaliatory and entrenched in their thought process.

I don’t think it is reasonable to expect people to think for themselves anymore. Black Lives Matter is described as Marxist therefore it is. The fact that it is usually white people who focus on this erroneous conclusion goes right over their head.
Have you ever read there aims, I have been through there website, number 3 in there objectives is ending racism.

Here's a thought, instead of taking the Knee which has always been about BLM and will never rid itself of the link

Stand with the Arm raised as Jesse Owens did in the Olympics, it is far more powerful image, and is not linked to any organisation.

Those that say BLM are not marxist are not an organisation have never actually investigated BLM.

There 2nd aim is to bring down capitalist governments including the UK's.

A lot of people object to the BLM movement, not because of any racism, but because of its politocal aims, and it's behaviour of some of it's followers.

People are not allowed to state their dislike of the movement for fear of being branded Racist, Sub Educated, and abused. Generally from people who have never even looked at the BLM web site, which by the way after it was screen shotted and posted was changed, the aims have not changed though.

People that dislike the BLM movement are none of the above, they just dont like their political aims, they are allowed to voice their disproval, last time I looked the UK allowed freedom of Expression, booing what people perceive as a political statement in favour of a Political movement should never be made illegal.

If their perception is as utterly flawed as it appears it’s bloody daft.

So, doing the Black Power salute as Smith and Carlos did in 1968 you say? You do know it wasn’t just a fist in a glove but they also had no shoes on as part of the gesture? Bit impractical one second before kicking off a football match.

It's also what Colin Kazim Richards did at Millwall V Derby to universal applause as you'd expect 🙄

Don’t take the knee as some fools are associating it as a political gesture. Replace it with the most political gesture ever seen in the Olympic movement bar the allowance of Nazi salutes in 1936. Okay.

We go again associating the Knee to BLM is not Foolish.

Taking the Knee has been BLM, since Kaperneck did it years ago.

John Carlos and Jesse Owens did the fist raise yes it was political, and had to be at the time because Blacks suffered real racism at the time not the dreamed up shit some say now George Flloyd was not killed because of his colour, he died the same as Tony Timpa because of Poor policing.

We want an end to treating someone differently due to the colour of their skin, lets do that statement lets look to the the real heros of the fight against Racism, Malcom X, Martin Luther King, the Black Panthers, not some 2 bit criminal and some marxist organisation.

Here's a thought, when multiple players, the England manager, clubs all state publicly that taking the knee is their way of highlighting and taking a stand against racism - support them, it's really not that hard.

The rest of your post is just drivel.

So in one post you've...
Continued to say Jesse Owens was at the 1968 Olympics
Fundamentally failed to understand the connection between institutionalised racism in the US police force and wider society to George Floyd's death
Spelt his name incorrrectly
Failed to understand that a white guy being killed by police doesn't mean a black guy being killed by police isn't because of the colour of his skin
Implied there isn't "real racism" any longer
Spelt Colin Kaepernick's name incorrectly
Spelt Malcolm X's name incorrectly
Given support for the Black Panthers - who were a Marxist organisation, but you don't like Marxists?
