Tetchy Rish! at it again

Could you imagine saying something similar in a work meeting and nothing happening?
Pretty sure the person would be sacked within 24 hours.

* removed from the building immediately, and then the formal stuff would take a day.

Why are the rules so different with people who are so much more powerful?

We need a revolution...

You can say racist things but that doesn't make you racist so therefore you don't have to return a £10m donation from the bloke who says racist things.

Kevin Hollinrake drew the short straw this morning in trying to defend the Conservative Party on the media rounds this morning and failed miserably.

Sunak is still sticking to the line that he has apologised and that his party will keep the £10m.

He's an apologist for racists and surely can't hold this line for much longer. Absolutely pathetic from the so called leader of our country.

weren't chartwells the company that was providing insufficient lunches for kids during the pandemic? Is their owner a tory donor too?

Edit a quick Google suggests a history of corruption especially in tenders and bids for contracts, as well as involvement in the horsemeat scandal & much more. Worthy of vast public contracts!

When Labour get in they should launch dozens of inquries into these contracts.

Really drop the hammer.

The speaker didn't call on Diane Abbott to pose her question at yesterday's PMQs. His excuse - not enough time!!

One of the few aspects of Starmer's Labour I'm actually hopeful of is that they're not corrupt fucks like this lot.

That will be a vast improvement.
Based on the evidence of the Starmer led Labour Party you're going to be in for some disappointment. They may not be as brazenly corrupt, but they are already making behind the scenes deals for donations from big business. £13m in private donations from a handful of donors in the last year. Those donations come with a price.

MPs pay to increase by 5.5% this April.

This is the latest from CIPD on public/private sector pay in 2024:

The median expected basic pay increase in the private sector has fallen from 5% to 4% since the last quarter while pay expectations in the public sector have fallen further from 5% to 3%.

What a life being an MP is!!

You can say and do what you want without consequence (relative to the average worker)

You have all your work drink, commute, food subsidised.

You have huge holidays

And you get to vote on whether you have a pay rise

Gove on extremism?
It's Enoch's comeback through the back door.
Clearly the Tories think subtle racism is the way to win the election, wankers.
