Roman Reigns, who was the reigning Universal Champion until moments ago, has revealed at the start of Raw that he has been diagnosed with leukemia again and will be taking time off to fight it. Terrible news and wish him all the best luck in the world fighting it.

Just seen the promo was dubious at first especially with the turn around time but it’s nice to have some good news in this thread and the fact he’s in remission

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has stated he’s retired from Wrestling so that’s his comeback confirmed
WWE are struggling to sell ticket to Monday night Raw and Smackdown tarping off half the arena’s at most shows but I’m sure they don’t care with there $1 Billion Fox deal starting in October
A new company call All Elite Wrestling hasn’t had these issues selling out the MGM Grand in 4 minutes, the Sears centre in 10 as well as there tv debut on TNT & ITV 4 selling out in 3 hours.

- WWE has ended it’s 30 year relationship with Sky to move to BT Sport with Bt Sport having a hearse leaking smoke and blasting out the undertaker’s theme in the Shard Area of london at the launch event.
- NXT: UK was in Blackpool again at the winter gardens with the best in ring PPV of the past 2 years Jordan Devlin and Black country lad Tyler Bate had an amazing British Style match.
- Impact Wrestling formerly TNA have crowned there Tessa Blanchard there World Heavyweight Champion an industry first for a woman to hold the main title.
- All Elite Wrestling has been renewed for 3 years on TNT and ITV. It’s been great since launching and Chris Jericho as champion has been gold.
- NWA is a thing again with a great throwback show to studio wrestling with the Worlds Heavyweight Champion being former Gladiator Nick Aldis
This weekend is the Royal Rumble my favourite match of the year with Brock Lesnar entering at number 1

My youngest son was there again. I was with him for the inaugral event at the Winter Gardens, Tyler Bate defeating Brum's Pete Dunne.

WWE have announced mass lay offs for all staff with some going on to the American Furlough scheme. They’ve released so far:

Thing is for a lot them this isnt the end of the world there alternative companies like AEW, New Japan and Impact who will happily sign them. For a company like AEW Kurt Angle, Fit Finlay & Lance Storm as trainers will help the younger talent improve 10 fold
Long time Referee Mike Chioda and wrestler Sarah Logan aswell.
