WWE/WWF

Did you guys hear Owen Hart's widow on Talk is Jericho?

Revealed WWF/Vince sued for breach of contract after his death.

I take anything she says with a grain of salt.

In sad news, Shad Gaspard of Cryme Tyme fame in WWE was swept away by a rip tide over the weekend and the search has now been called off. Lifeguards got to him but he got them to take his son back to land first

Yeah seen that, sad sad news but any of us would have done what he did in saving his kid over himself.

Yeah this episode of Dark side of the ring should be rather intriguing, she’s already rattled WWE’s solicitors.

The Owen Hart episode is damn emotional... the evidence of his fall breaking the ring boards and blood being left on the mat should have stopped the PPV. To think 5 matches went on after his fall with wrestlers knowing they’re working over the area where Owen had died is beyond stupid!

I watched that PPV live I'm sure, it was horrible. I was a teenager then so sat through it think now I'd have just turned off.

Remember the next nights Raw being a great tribute show to be fair, many wrestlers pretty much broke Kayfabe to give tribute to Owen.

Been looking for this one, watched all of series 1 on virgin media catch up (via Vice channel) but they've not got series 2 up yet (or hadn't when I last checked).

Have seen some of series 2 on YouTube but the Owen one doesn't appear to be on there.

Great series, gripping.

I was 6 when it happened and didnt have idea about it till my teens when I was looking to get trained but Jeff Jarrett’s promo was hesrt breaking. The show shouldn’t have gone on.

I’m probably gonna get Kenny, paddy or one of our lovely mod team having a go at me for this but here is the video on Youtube.

Netflix and Stardom wrestler Hana Kimura has died aged 22 cause is yet to be announced

So, without having to watch the whole thing, did Owen's wife get any money from the WWE in court?

Watched Double Or Nothing over the weekend really enjoyed it! Had it all, some real OMG moments (Stadium Stampede match, Casino Ladder match and the womens title match which was excellent), also some humours moments (Orange Cassidy!)

Really got the AEW bug now can't wait for Dynamite.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it Pacamac, the stadium stampede was a master piece with subtle little references and a brutal ending. The next big event Fyter Fest was supposed to be London but obviously this isn’t possible for obvious reasons.

Orange Cassidy walking over to commentary asking how the match works then getting annoyed at the effort he needs to put in was hilarious

So this won't be on catch up on itv then? What's the best way to watch it in the uk then? Ta.

Three episodes in and enjoying The Last Ride.

Yepp that’s been brilliant too, it’s great to see the man who for 30 years protected Kayfabe and his character. Cannot wait to hear him talk about the now infamous Goldberg match

Still enjoying AEW, even started watching their secondary show Dark now (although they had the champ Moxley on it this week which I thought was strange).

Seems what was planned as their next pay per view is now going to run as a 2 part show (instead of Dynamite) in July. Hope that's not a sign the last one didn't do very good numbers (could be Covid 19 related I'd expect).

Dark is considered the second show as in the smackdown to Raw but Dark has had some pretty good matches on it.

Aew is firing on all cylinders at the moment and is very enjoyable especially after that Stadium Stampede.

Fyter Fest isn’t the next PPV it’s the next Dynamite special after Bash at the Beach in January and the cancelled Blood and Guts. Instead of monthly PPV’s they’re doing quarterly PPV’s and specials to blow off/ advance story lines. Fyter Fest was supposed to be AEW’s UK Debut until the Coronavirus hit.
