Fifa 19 Thread - yay, a card game on the telly!

Allan is completely in the air right now, I literally just got him and haven't even used yet. I had Bruno Fernandes / Bernardo Silva in that spot. I had tots allan last year too though, and remember him being a great b2b cm.

matthaus hasn't overly impressed me in midfield but he has pretty good stats, which is why I was thinking maybe cam. could be a wrong move certainly, haven't tried.

His long shots are unreal so it may work. I played him at CDM and he was quality.

not a particularly good/exciting goal but the guy had been skilling nonstop the entire game which was fucking annoying and it felt good to not only beat him pretty thoroughly, but to get this cheeky goal at the end when he was shittily controlling his GK. (viera below has a red card because I full on de jonged one of his players during what I deemed to be a particularly excessive skillfest)

also went ahead and grabbed pogba. kind of annoyed because I basically wiped out my untradeables for him, but I still have near 700k... shoulda just gone for gullit. oh well. can't be too mad, he's certainly not bad.

I completed his SBC. the end-cycle of the game has been insanely profitable for me

I also did the Alaba sbc, who has the 3rd most IGS in the game, so my main squad is craaaayyyy and I still have a half mil to spend. futties hazard also great

because I have the best team I've ever had and I'm not just gonna chuck it into the bin immediately after finishing it. I've also gotten *really* into fifa the last few weeks/months, and don't want to get sucked into the grind all over again. The gameplay reviews/videos so far don't seem overly encouraging and regardless, I'm in the final year of my degree and don't need the distraction, especially since I already had planned on picking up the new FM.

so I decided I to skip 20. when I get the itch to play I'll jump in 19.

I've got the 20 beta and I'm hoping they've not updated ratings yet as ours are a shambles.

I've given in once again and pre-ordered Fifa 20.

Will play FUT again. What annoyed me about 19 was I would get used to the FUT game play and feel like I was getting somewhere and then an update would come out and the game would feel a lot different - once this had happened about 5 times I'd had enough and gave up with it.

Turned it back on a few months later and some mates I'd played with previously had insane teams. Think this FUT was the easiest to build a top class team on so I probably should have persevered with it.

the same thing has happened the last few fifas. they've already done it with the fifa 20 beta. not sure why you'd expect a different experience when they've demonstrated it will not be.

I'm sticking with my preorder cancel. feels good to be broken free of FIFA homework weekly.

My Prime Access is she for renewal September 21st, haven’t made my mind up whether I’m cancelling or not yet. I haven’t played FIFA for a while and really don’t know if I can be arsed to go through building another squad again.
