Flum v Wolves: Take it seriously 3rd Round Cup game

May as well play him, we're paying him out the nose IIRC.

Sure? I dunno, we say "out the nose" or even "out the ass" here.

Am I right in thinking the Charlton game will get moved if either us or Charlton win?

Yep. Not sure why they have scheduled league games for Fourth Round day, they don't normally as far as I remember.

No wonder Wolves are giving away free tickets when it could end in being played on a Tues night in Feb.

Possibility of no RVLP for todays game, so presume Henry on the right if this is so.

Evans should come in for the suspended McDonald & only issue then is who plays LB. With Hause cup tied, Golbourne & Rowe injured & Ricketts apparently completely out of favour suspect that the shirt will go to Doherty.

However as Foley is back from loan, has had some game time (though not sure how well he has done) & is a proper full back (& has played on the left before) is there some merit in using him?

What has happened to Ricketts? I can understand if he played terribly, but when he got his brief chance he was certainly no worse than Doherty or Baath.

He is still our club captain and you'd expect him to be at least making the bench and to be starting in games like this.

I don't think he has got that much worse than last season, or that the championship is that much more difficult.

Agree re Ricketts.

Whilst he's not the long term answer given his age & probably won't be offered a contract renewal, has a wealth of experience & didn't let us down at any point when he played. Unless his legs have suddenly gone on him then he was quick enough last year to be able to cope & versatile enough to play right the way across the back line if needed.

Ricketts should play as he's a natural left-back. Doherty should be left back in the dressing room.

The RVLP thing sounds like an excuse to rest him. Surely still feeling the effects of a concussion a week after the event is a sign of serious head trauma?

Wouldn't have minded going now. It is one of the best away days with some decent boozers down by the Thames.

All the games at 3pm? What kind of rubbish is that??
Not to mention the two rubbish games they're showing here,Tranmere v Swansea and WBa v Gateshead.

RUBBISH!

Wish we had those 2 televised, we have to suffer Arsenal v Hull although looking forward to the WimbledonV Liverpool game Monday
