Sarri gone at Juve wait for the impending speculation about Nuno

Cristiano will have a say in the identity of the new manager I am sure.

Now this really is not a criticism of Nuno but he has a certain style and that would not suit teams like Juve or Real Madrid or Inter. We live with it and praise it as we have been shit in top division terms for 4 decades. Can you imagine a 20 strong squad at Juve?

Neither can I. He is a great fit here

I think Howe has done a descent job at Bournemouth, small club and keeping them in the PL for some years..he can do a good job elsewhere considering steve bruce is getting jobs..

But then he left to try things at Burnley and had to go back to Bournemouth with his tail between his legs. Who knows how he'll fare anywhere else.

Thouhgt it was homesickness that resulted in him leaving burnley wasn't it? Not that he failed spectacularly?
If so, getting another london or south coast role may suit him fine. It will limit his options for getting another gig.

Howe span it that way. They were 16th when he left and weren't disappointed

Well, it definitely finished as a descent job...

It certainly seems a little... Risky.

Pirlo was an absolute genius but he never struck me as much of a leader.

It won't shock anyone, I'm sure, but all I can think of is how many times Sol Campbell has been told to "work your way up".

It's still crazy to me however you look at it, though. Pirlo was installed as their U21 manager less than two months ago.

It worked for Guardiola & Zidane I suppose. Xavi is guaranteed to get the Barcelona job soon as well, he talks about it enough.

I just don't see Pirlo as a manager though. Especially managing players like Ronaldo... I just don't see it.

As the premier black players of the 'golden generation, I totally understand why Campbell and Cole are held up as the prime examples of the lack of black representation at manager level. Raheem Sterling did so.

The problem I have with that is one comes across as a fundamentally strange guy and the other as thick as pig shit. Now there are countless white managers who fit into either or both camps, we employed one fairly recently so I'm not saying that their skin colour hasn't been a barrier, just that Dwight Yorke, Andy Cole, Les Ferdinand and I'm sure plenty of others would be stronger examples.
