Games in hand mean nothing (one of them is against City in midweek) and their form in 2021 is decidedly average:

LLWLWLWDLWLDDLWL (18 points from 16 games, we have 20 from 16).

However I would say no, it's hard to predict what we will do with any certainty and we're running out of players. What I will say is that they look even worse as an attacking force without their best player than we do without ours.

Of course we should have beaten them at Molineux rather than getting a suckerpunch at the end, and Saiss missed from inches out at Villa Park. There's your difference.
Our next 3 fixtures feel vital if we have any chance at all of a top half finish, but it'd take performances quite different to what we've seen for a while and, like you say, with an ever shrinking squad.

Not beyond the realms that with a few right results we could not only get our revenge in the BCD, but also relegate them. That's what I'm looking for right now...(they will need to be 13 points behind 17th after the game)
That can't happen if Utd beat Burnley today

Bookies have us shorter odds to finish top half than we ever were to be relegated

Where we are is where we’ll finish probably around the 47-48 point mark. Not bad all things considered.
The gap between Albion and safety needs to be 13 points for us to relegate them when we play them.
Needs Burnley to get 4 points from Man Utd and us, BHA need 4 from Sheff Utd and Chelsea and Newcastle to win at Liverpool plus Saints to get something at Spurs. However if our game is on the Sunday and the said above play on the Saturday it could happen.
Very very unlikely, personally I think they’ll shithouse something out of us anyway.

Villa still have to play MU, City, Spurs, Everton and Chelsea so if we get 7 points from Burnley, Brighton and WBA it isn’t beyond real s of possibility we could get above them.
