I think cup replays areing down away with altogether from next season because of the restructured Champions League or something like that.

I may be misremembering the detail though.

Dead easy way around this.

If you're in a UEFA competition, then you have to win to go through - draws are counted as if they were losses for the purposes of progress. You could extend that to teams from different levels in the pyramid too, which would minimise the number of replays without actually removing them.
