Loan Watch 2019-2020

From yesterday:

Will Norris - Ipswich Town, League One.

As mentioned, getting a lot of flak online for coming out for a high ball at Wycombe and missing it completely, was pretty unlucky in that it dropped just on the forward's head and looped in, but you can't be doing that. Finished 1-1. He'll do well to keep his place with the competition for the GK shirt bring pretty fierce there.

Niall Ennis - Doncaster Rovers, League One.

Started and got an assist in a 1-1 draw, a clever first-time touch into his teammate's path.. Subbed with 10 mins to go.

Came on as sub: Ivan Cavaleiro came on just before half-time with his side 2-0 at Reading. Caused havoc down the left hand side; first but scoring a peach of a goal with one of his trademark cutbacks inside, then striking the post with a half-volley before putting in a great cross that they almost equalised from. Not enough to stop the loss, though.

Goal here on 1.33: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4k6K-hEZtfs

Unused sub: Diallo.

Not in squad: John.

As for the OP, Watt is now on there and Mir & Bright removed.

Tim I saying Dion Sanderson is about to follow Elliot Watt to Carlisle.

They'll both be joining Stourbridge legend Aaron Hayden who recently got into the team up there.

Hope if Dion goes out on loan he is played as a CB rather than a Full back or wing back

Sanderson out on loan, Vallejo being sent back. Boly still in recovery. Are we sniffing around a centre back without anyone getting an idea about it yet?

Frustrating we can't get a better opportunity for Sanderson than the arse end of League Two to be honest.

I agree. He's a much better player than that level.

The good thing about the Watt and Sanderson loans is that they played against Carlisle in the Sherpa Van, so presumably it's a club who actually know what they are getting

Watt played but Sanderson was in the League Cup squad

Watt starting first game at Cardiff in FA Cup. Two nil up at half time!

From the weekend:

Ivan Cavaleiro - Fulham, The Championship.

Started at home in the Cup against Villa and had an ineffective game. Subbed on 84 mins.

Ryan Giles - Shrewsbury, League One.

Played 87 minutes at Bristol City, made a few dangerous runs in the first half but little to note. Finished 1-1.

Elliot Watt - Carlisle United, League Two.

Made his debut at Cardiff in defensive midfield. Was straight on free-kicks and had a shot that whistled just wide. Stayed on for the full game and it finished 2-2.

Leo Bonatini - Vitoria Guimaraes, Portuguese Primeira Liga

Lost 0-1 at home to Benfica, subbed on 69 minutes.

Not in squad: Miranda.

No game: Ennis, John, Norris, Diallo, Johnson, Herc, Ronan.

Niall Ennis has got one early on tonight for what I think is his first league goal for Donny. Ryan Giles is on the other team.

No John in the squad?

I don't trust Ken with anyone after we sent Ronan his way and he parked him either on the right wing or on the bench.

Then again Plymouth did break Burgoyne about one day after he went there.

Austin Samuels has joined Kidderminster on loan for the rest of the season
