The CHRISTMAS Thread

I'm still in the game but I'm listening to Classic FM pretty much exclusively, so I'm kinda hiding in a fox hole, musically speaking. I get the feeling I'll get Whammed at the Royal London on Sunday.

Out of it now - almost caught yesterday, but just heard them announcing it & got to the radio to turn it off before it started.

Caught today as went back into the kitchen when it was on & it was halfway through before I realised what it was.

I hope that, like me, you couldn't help but join in at the top of your voice when you heard it and realised

There’s no better Christmas song than I Believe in Father Christmas, I’m afraid.

White wine in the sun for me, bit soppy though.

You can't go wrong with Eartha Kitt's Santa Baby.

My local's jukebox no longer has Mr Hankey the Christmas Poo on it. The third piece of bad news tonight.

I'm still in the game... Was convinced they were going to play it before kickoff tonight

Underrated Christmas songs:

1. Santa Claus is Coming to Town - Bruce Springsteen
2. Must be Santa - Bob Dylan
3. Perfect Christmas - S Club 7

Bruce Springsteen one is godawful shite IMO. Unnecessarily slow down a song and a stick a gravelly voice over it. No ta.

First bottle of Bailey's purchased. Bit of a Christmas tradition here.

Problem is putting it down once it's opened...

Baileys is rank and an overly sharp bitter taste.

Give me a White Russian any day instead. Much smoother and sweeter and you can mix it exactly how you like it.

What cream do you use in a white russian?
