Premier League 2020/21

Zero faith shown in Shef Utd.

It’s slightly harsh but hard not to see them regress slightly as although they did really well last season they did over perform.

Seems harsh on Burnley as I reckon it doesn’t factor in Dyche enough!

Most of it seems pretty sensible but I’d have slightly above Spurs and Arsenal, they were terrible last season and I think we can get past 60 points this season.

Burnley had a lot going on behind the scenes a couple of weeks ago, players not signing deals, rumblings Dyche wasn't happy they might have factored that in.

I’d take those finishing positions. Think Villa will do better and unless they sign a few Palace will be lower.

I see City and Utd getting a later start

Cut off point literally just as we went out of the Europa! Joke really.

All PL clubs agreed on that in June.. We beat Sevile we get the same start as them

We tried to get included on the basis of games played/length of season and the fact we finished a few days before the Manc clubs but obviously that was rejected because of no good reason.

I don’t see why Leeds would be considered that highly (maybe just the bielsa influence, the players aren’t that good)

It's spread betting, Leeds are a big club and something of an unknown quantity. If they set the spread low then they'd be vulnerable to their fans piling in

If they bring in three quality players I think that’s a realistic points tally. Bielsa is a fine manager and will be aided by playing a lot less games.

Bielsa is the main factor, and they were way too good for the Championship two years running.

Their squad isn't brilliant, but I'd expect them to spend a bit

Fixtures @ 9 tomorrow. Obligatory made up leak is Leicester at home

BBC article seems to imply we will get an extra week break?

Last week there was a rumour it was Leicester away I think, because of someone claiming it accidentally got put on Fantasy Premier League :icon_lol:

The rumour lists are always bollocks. Let’s see how it looks in the morning. Still got to play 19 teams twice. Just like everyone else.

Well as the rumours have Man City and Man Utd not playing each other it better be shit.

The fuckwittery if they somehow give Arsenal and Palace an extra week off and not us

I read that they aren't finalised until tonight, then the clubs get them about 6am to be released at 9am.

2 extra days off as well as Chelsea so, Monday night football vs Chelsea first match

Sheff Utd away, Monday 14th Sept

Villa and Burnley get an extra week off. Fucking joke

Alternatively they have one week less to fit in their 38 fixtures in an already heavily congested season.

Looking on the bright side - it nicely gives them a chance to get to the bottom of the table quicker.
