Well this could be interesting. Today shows the formation we have been playing actually works and we shouldn't have changed. VLP, McDonald you name it will get loads of shit but there wasn't any player that was worse than Afobe out there today.

Not really, he tried to get involved and when he did he gave the ball away and didn't look interested the rest of the time. For all Goodman spouts shit he is right in that Afobe isn't a lone front man and that showed today. Obviously he will get a bit of leniency because he has shown his quality and scored goals for us but he was very poor today.

A striker doesn't have to be given stuff at especially Afobe as he likes to create his own chances by dropping deep. My point wasn't to have a go at Afobe it was more to say we shouldn't be singling out players who have played shit today because our best player was just as bad as everyone else.

No way you can slag off Afobe, he was coming as deep as defence at one point (I remember coz I pointed it out) to gain the ball and make stuff happen, not his fault that he couldn't get the service for a shot... Having said that Ojo and RVLP both made their cases of why they should start every game. Edwards should never be seen in a wolves shirt ever again. Hause was the one player (along with EEL) that I thought played well. Can we go to a flat 442 please?! Didn't reskise how much we'd miss Batth but it's evident why premier league clubs have been interested in him, he's a natural born leader.

Oh lord. There's only a few strikers down the years that can create stuff for themselves. Messi being a prime example.

If you read my last post you will see that i wasn't slagging Afobe more pointing out that no one played well yet several players will get the blame more than others when that shouldn't be the case as no one played well. For me Jackett is the one who should be getting the blame for this performance as there was no need to change the side, we had been creating chances and looked very threatening in our last 2 games until we got complacent on Wednesday night and then 2 quality players took advantage of it.
