Ex-Wolf Watch

Enjoy a Matt Doherty free kick goal (you'll never see another one)

Matheus Nunes is the PL's second fastest player this season with 36.7km, 0.1 ahead of Forbs and 0.4 below Micky VDV

I’ve got serious doubts over the reliability of the speed gun they’re using.

In his one season with us he was also clocked as the second fastest in the league. Had a quicker speed than Adama I believe

I cant even trust my own eyes it now seems. If back Semedo in a 60 yard dash against Nunes - and lose my money it seems.

It wasn't adamas top speed that was most impressive (impressive that it was) it was his instant acceleration and ability to change direction so quickly.

I know that it became frustrating at a point, especially with the whole “keep Jota or Adama” thing, but it is hard to deny how incredible Adama could have been.

Well… yeah, that’s kind of my point. He could have been way more than that.

Could he?

He's got a very unique skillset and there are days he'll do stuff that few other players on the planet will do. But that applied in 2018 too.

He always has been exactly what he is.

TC is at Dagenham and Redbridge now? Did we know this?!

Agreed, this year is definitely Bright Enobakhare's though ;)

I think if he'd been anywhere near his potential then he'd never have been anywhere near playing for wolves (let alone a season in the championship with Middlesbrough!)

I've never seen a footballer ball watch as much as him, not because he's lazy, but because he doesn't read the game. I used to see it in all it's glory from the NB upper. That as much as the finishing and the crossing is why he'll never fulfill the perceived potential. I don't know if it's apocryphal, but the story about Pulis switching his wing at half time so he could always be in his ear rings true even if it isn't.
