Ex-Wolf Watch

Did hospitality and museum tour for my 40th celebrations today.

The club usually put on a club legend to do a talk/tour of the museum.

We were blessed with erm, Mark McGhee.

He's still a throbbing bellend:

  • Asked by Jonathan Hayward if he could choose a marquee signing for when he joined us he said Paul Ince then of Inter Milan "but that didn't happen once I arrived" I'm honestly shocked he didn't leave them to join Division One Wolves

  • He didn't want to leave Leicester so early into his time there but Sir Alex Ferguson convinced him to walk out on them.

  • More than one barbed comment about Sir Jack. After the 'Golden Tit' he tried to stop the story going out. Afterwards he was on borrowed time because he was Jonathan's 'guy' and SJH didn't want him.

I'm surprised they offered and that he accepted.

I like Ince being number one on his list when number 2 was Steve Corica

Yes England's Paul Ince who joined Inter in summer 1995 would have joined Wolves in er, December 1995.

Total bollocks.

He did want to sign Alexei Mikhailichenko from Rangers.

At least he was a big name, Jeff would love to get someone like him in, imagine the profit he’d generate at £1 a letter on the shirt
