Ex-Wolf Watch

For those of you who know 'Monday Night Football', is Jonathan Liew having a veiled go at GON?

'In many ways Nuno is the perfect manager for the current shambles, which is not entirely a compliment. Nuno will sort out the leaky defence, inject some energy in midfield, get the team running as a unit, put some points on the board, turn a diplomatic cheek to the foibles around him and extravagances above him. He will not become a face‑swap meme. He will not go on Monday Night Football to point at a large television and explain what a genius he is.'

Boy wonder gets another 3 minutes off the bench for Dortmund. At this rate I'll rack up more minutes taking a shit this season.

I refuse to accept that he only comes up to my shoulder.

João Moutinho has just come on for Braga against Celtic if anyone needs their fix of 5 foot 7 of football heaven.

I was in the Braga end last night. Really good game, Braga were the better team but got away with a shocking VAR call and had a bit of luck with the goals.

João came on and calmed everything down for them. He's still absolutely majestic.

Trophy-hunting Matheus Cunha on the bench today.

Similar money-grabbing Mason Mount, preferred.

Kev McDonald with a last minute winner at Lincoln for Exeter.

Attended Metz vs Marseille today as its just down the road compared to the travel I would need to do in Germany.

Boubacar Traore on loan from us and in contract until June 27 was clearly the outstanding player for Metz and is a popular player here.

He did the usual stuff breaking up play and stitching things together but unfortunately there is nobody around him as sharp and crisp as he is with his thinking and skills at this level. Good for him that he is getting games though now. Nevertheless, he still ain't good enough to shift any of our midfielders.

Metz lost 0-3 and to be honest it could easily have been more because of the incisive play of a very well drilled Marseille who are right now at the top of Ligue 1. Metz remain bottom.

Finally, Metz have added an impressive new main stand in recent years and the atmosphere although a tad orchestrated for the ultras of both teams was very good. Don't know where Metz got the money from for that stand but it definitely shows us up!

A good day out!

Good to see he's getting decent game time. Personally I think he'd have been perfect as our back up CM or come in when we're playing 3. I'm still surprised we let him go out on loan with no CM to replace him and Doyle.
I always thought he'd be a Vitor style player, big, athletic, quickest. Surely he'd have been at least as good as Munetsi?

hadn't realised Kevin Thelwell was at rangers and was responsible for appointing russell martin!
