Unfortunately the most memorable game will probably be the 5-1 defeat to WBA.
Not at all - I remember the good times far more than I remember the bad. And there were plenty of very good days under McCarthy.
I wish I was the same. Unfortunately, just like with the majority of his players, my memories of Mick McCarthy will always be tainted by our downfall. As much as I want to I can't forget the 3-2 vs Villa, the 5-0 vs Fulham and the 2-2 vs Swansea.
I guess that's where we differ. It's not like I've forgotten some of those awful days, but I just remember the good days better. Following the club throughout the dross that was the mid/late 1990's, any major success sticks in the memory far more. I find it odd to think of the bad days before the good days , but I suppose we can't all think the same way!!
It's more like I can't separate the good and bad. For me, the way it ended and in particular the way the players conducted themselves sort of devalues their previous achievements in my mind.
Five one vs forest. That first 45 minutes was probably the most dominant display I've seen at any level.
