Yeah, we aren't in the 2nd tier now. Like for like its 39 years.

Please enlighten me. We hadn't won in the top tier at Manchester since 1979. Adama had gone 13 months without scoring.

Its like cricket, 111 gets a wicket. For me one of the numbers that can cause upsets is 13. Unbeaten runs, games without scoring, games since a clean sheet, games since a pen games since a red. And if that can apply look for an upset , back the underdog.

1) Since when have multiples of 13 been unlucky? I can't see the thread littered with bad luck warnings at 26 or 52.
2) You stated that it was 39 years since we'd beaten them away. When that was proven wrong you mentioned in the top flight which yes it is technically correct, but its not the same ground, its not the same league, Wolves are even a different legal entity since 79.

I smile at the thread but it seems that if you look hard enough you'd find a 13 in a stat somewhere to prove that your Cybertosis theory
is correct. You've got to expect to be pulled up on stats that aren't right though?

We beat watford (we never beat the teams at the bottom), last beaten them 4 months ago (not a multiple of 13), we last beat them at home 128 months ago (not a multiple of 13), we always break teams losing streaks...Doc scored the first goal, having last scored 5 months ago..., blah blah blah

Based on cybertosis we should have lost.

I thought it was all a bit of a joke a first but the fact it’s actually a serious thought is laughable. And then to get defensive about it is worse

Scotland beaten by Japan in rugby on the 13th. First shock of the tournament.
 
Mind you, would the shock not have been if Scotland won?
 
I don't really do Rugby but even I know it wasn't the first shock, Uruguay beating Fiji was and in fact it wasn't a shock at all, Japan were favourites and ranked higher
 
Japan beating Ireland was a shock. You are right about Uruguay v Fiji as well.

To call this a shock is just complete and utter fucking bollocks and frankly disrespectful to Japan, but hey Cyber sees the number 13 and fires off the crap to try and keep his nonsense going.
