Rubbish Pubs

I've never understood places taking bookings when they're guaranteed to be rammo anyway.
Inevitably some people will be late/no shows so won't be spending money whilst other people who would've been in spending money are put off...

Is there going to be an alternative meeting place? Came up on Saturday, but was later than intended as the travel conditions weren't great - someone appeared to have emptied an olympic sized swimming pool over my car coming round Frome which meant I almost had to stop, then Bathford Bridge was partially flooded so had to decide whether I was going to risk it or do the 30 mile detour. Took a chance & got through.

Got to the RL & yes the bar was a bunfight to get served & the music was loud (& not very good either though at least they didn't charge £143 for a pint) - no one in there so went down to the ground. Did manage to locate a couple of you after in the Hogshead, but didn't stay long as like Harry apendages were starting to get frostbite.

Will try to get to a few more though this one cost an arm & a leg as all hotels have gone up by at least 40% & the trains aren't to be trusted.

I'm similar to Parkin there, only met up the once this season so not as aware where everyone goes - when I was at the London for Forest it was stupidly loud to the point I could barely hear anyone, and we were stuck in the back. Compared to some away trips Wolverhampton has always been pretty poor, especially for a ground actually inside the city and not shunted off to a retail park. Particularly for away fans Wolverhampton is terrible.

I'll probably just post on the thread asking where you go when the time comes.
